Colt First Generation Single Action Army Revolver with Factory Letter - Serial no. 344731, 45 Long Colt cal., 7 1/2 inch round bbl., blue/casehardened finish, walnut grips.
The included factory letter states the revolver was shipped to Hibbard, Spencer, Bartlett & Co. of Chicago, Illinois, on March 12, 1923, with a 5 1/2 inch barrel in .32-20 caliber, blue finish, and type
of stocks not listed. This was a single gun shipment. The revolver has subsequently been converted to .45 LC with a replacement 7 1/2 inch barrel and cylinder. The barrel has the one-line Hartford address on top and “45 COLT” on the left side and a replacement blade front sight pinned to the shaved down original sight. Fitted with a set of period replacement Rampant Colt deep set medallion fleur-de-lis checkered grips. Matching serial numbers on the frame, trigger guard, and back strap. Matching assembly number “413”

First Generation Colt Single Action Army Revolver - Serial no. 341797, 45 LC cal., 7 1/2 inch round bbl., blue/ casehardened finish, hard rubber grips. Manufactured in 1921. The barrel has the one-line address on top and caliber marking on left side, and the frame has the two-line patent marking with a Rampant Colt. Although numbered to the gun, the grips are replacements. Matching numbers are found on the frame, grip straps and cylinder (97). CONDITION: Very fine. The revolver retains 75% original blue finish with the grip straps mostly a smooth gray patina and cycling marks on the cylinder. The frame retains 85% original case colors with a few patches of very light pitting. The slightly oversized grips are fine showing some scattered minor handling marks and crisp checkering overall. Mechanically excellent. Estimate: 4,500 - 6,500

Antique Colt Black Powder Frame Single Action Army Revolver - Serial no. 122270, 45 Long Colt cal., 5 1/2 inch round bbl., blue/casehardened finish, hard rubber grips. Manufactured in 1887. The top of the barrel is marked with the standard one-line address and the caliber marking is on the left. The left side of the frame has the three-line patent dates followed by the later factory added circled Rampant Colt. The matching full serial number is on the frame, trigger guard, and back strap, and the matching partial serial number is on the bottom of the barrel under the ejector rod housing and on the rear face of the cylinder. The assembly number “1006” is on the inside of the loading gate. It has standard features and is fitted with a pair of later production, factory replacement, checkered hard rubber grips with Rampant Colts at the tops. CONDITION: Very fine, retains 80% plus of the factory refinished blue finish and 60% of the vibrant case colors with the balance a smooth grey patina, a few patches showing evidence of cleaning and light pitting. The grips are also very good with some tape residue on the right, minimal handling marks, and crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent. Estimate: 2,750 - 4,250

Hammer and frame retain 60% original case colors. The replacement grips are slightly oversized and have some minor handling marks with overall crisp checkering. Mechanically fine. Fine Colt Bisley Model Single Action Army Revolver
with Factory Letter - Serial no. 263558, 32 WCF cal., 7 1/2
inch round bbl., blue/casehardened finish, hard rubber grips. The
Colt Bisley model was only manufactured in 1894-1912. For many, the
Bisley feels better in the hand and cocks and fires easier thanks to its
lower and wider hammer and the wider trigger making them excellent
sidearms for serious marksmen. The accompanying factory letter for
this classic example states it was shipped to Hibbard, Spencer, Bartlett
Co. of Chicago, Illinois, on January 27, 1905, with a 7 1/2 inch barrel in
.32-20 caliber and type of stocks not listed. It has the standard one-line
Hartford address on top of the barrel and “(BISLEY MODEL)” and the
caliber marking on the left. The left of the frame is marked with the two-
line patent dates and circled Rampant Colt. Matching serial numbers are
visible on the frame, trigger guard, and back strap, and the assembly
number “8577” is on the inside of the loading gate. Fitted with a pair of checkered hard rubber grips with Rampant Colts at the tops. Comes with an extra set of grips.
CONDITION: Fine. The cylinder, barrel and ejector rod housing retain 80% plus original blue finish with holster type wear. The grip straps retain 50% original blue finish with a smooth gray patina on the balance. The hammer and frame retain 60% original case colors. The slightly undersized replacement grips are also fine with a few minor handling marks and overall crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent.
