Brown Damascus steel barrel with single brass bead sight, light engraving at the breech, “J. STRONG & SON. CARLISLE.” retail mark near breech, .049 inches of choke constriction, and chambers proofed “1 3/4” oz. or 3 1/2 inches with extractor. The casehardened action displays attractive scrollwork engraving with “CHAs. OSBORNE & Co. LONDON.” on either side indicating it was built pre-1899 before the company name was changed and moved to Birmingham, and features an automatic safety.
