Excellent Post-World War I Winchester Model 94 Lever Action Saddle Ring Carbine - Serial no. 921483, 30 WCF cal., 20 inch round bbl., blue finish, walnut stock. Manufactured in 1920. This high condition post-World War I Winchester Model 94 carbine is fitted with a pinned blade front sight, a folding ladder rear sight, and a saddle ring on the left side of the receiver. The left side of the barrel has the standard two-line New Haven address/patent date marking followed by the two-line nickel steel marking and the caliber designation “30 WCF.” The Winchester factory oval proof on the barrel and receiver at the breech. The underside of the receiver is stamped with the serial number. The upper tang has the three-line Model 94/ trademark information. The carbine stock is nicely figured walnut. CONDITION: Excellent, retaining 90% plus original blue finish with some areas of smooth “flaked off ” brown patina mostly on the right side of the receiver and upper tang. The wood is also excellent with very minimal handling marks. Mechanically excellent. A solid representative example of a Winchester legend, the Model 94 saddle ring carbine. Estimate: 3,500 - 5,500
LOT 3701 Scarce Winchester Model 53 Lever Action Rifle in .25-20 W.C.F. - Serial no. 1490, 25-20 WCF cal., 22 inch round bbl., blue finish, walnut stock. With only 24,916 produced, the Winchester Model 53 is relatively much scarcer than most of their other lever action models. Manufactured in 1924 with standard markings, including Winchester factory oval proofs on the barrel and receiver at the breech. Fitted with a Lyman beaded blade front sight and elevation adjustable notch rear sight. Mounted with a smooth forearm and straight grip stock with a serrated shotgun buttplate. CONDITION: Very fine, retains 75% plus of the original blue finish with the balance having thinned/flaked to a grey-brown patina, primarily on the receiver. The wood is fine with a few scattered minor scuffs and some scattered light handling marks. Mechanically excellent. Estimate: 2,250 - 3,500

Very Fine Pre-World War II Winchester Model 71 Deluxe Lever Action Rifle - Serial no. 16064, 348 WCF cal., 24 inch round bbl., blue finish, walnut stock. Manufactured in 1938 with standard markings including Winchester factory oval proofs. Fitted with a ramped beaded blade front sight with hood and filler in the rear dovetail. There is a Lyman 56 peep sight fitted on the left rear of
the receiver (nut for set screw absent). Mounted with a checkered forearm and pistol grip stock with sling swivels and a checkered shotgun buttplate. Includes a leather sling. CONDITION: Very fine, retains 90% plus of the original blue finish with some light muzzle wear and a few scattered light handling marks. The refinished wood is fine with a few scattered minor handling marks. Mechanically excellent. Estimate: 1,600 - 2,500
LOT 3703 Winchester Model 55 Takedown Lever Action Rifle - Serial no. 1020119, 30 WCF cal., 24 inch round bbl., blue finish, walnut stock. Manufactured in 1928, with Winchester factory oval proofs on the barrel and receiver at the breech. The standard model, Winchester trademark, nickel steel, and caliber markings are on the left of the barrel near the breech. The three-line trademark is marked on the upper tang, and the serial number is on the bottom of the receiver. It is fitted with a ramped, beaded blade front sight and elevation adjustable notch rear sight. It is mounted with a smooth forearm and straight grip stock with a serrated shotgun buttplate. CONDITION: Fine, retains 70% plus of the original blue finish with the balance having thinned to mostly a smooth grey patina and a few patches of scattered light pitting. The wood is also fine with some scattered light handling marks. Mechanically excellent. Estimate: 1,400 - 2,250
      LOT 3704 Winchester Deluxe Model 71 Lever Action Rifle - Serial no. 37957, 348 WCF cal., 24 inch round bbl., blue finish, walnut stock. Manufactured in 1954 with standard markings including Winchester factory oval proofs on the barrel and receiver at the breech. Fitted with ramped and hooded beaded blade front and Lyman rear peep sights. Sling swivels are
mounted on the forend cap and stock. Mounted with a checkered forearm and pistol grip stock with hard rubber
grip cap and checkered shotgun buttplate.
CONDITION: Extremely fine, retaining 95% original blue finish with handling marks, light dings and scratches on the receiver, and action marks on the lever. The wood is very fine with some scratches on the forend, a small crack on the right side, and softening in the checkering. Mechanically excellent. Estimate: 1,600 - 2,500
