I) Winchester Model 70 Ultra Grade Featherweight Rifle in
.308 Winchester - Serial no. UG920, 308 Win cal., 22 inch round bbl., blue finish, walnut stock. This rifle features a barrel manufactured without sights. The left rear is marked with the standard two line markings, and, in addition “ULTRA SET”, is marked on the right rear. The top of the barrel at the breech end is marked with the Winchester oval proof. This
rifle features a fine floral scroll engraved receiver with gold inlaid border accents, gold “WINCHESTER/-TRADE MARK-” on the left wall and serial number in gold on the right side of the receiver ring. The floor plate, trigger guard and grip cap are engraved with the same floral scroll design, with a bighorn ram in the center of the floor plate with gold bordering. The top of the receiver is factory drilled and tapped for scope mounting. Jeweled bolt and follower, with floral scroll engraving on the bolt handle. Mounted with an American black walnut pistol grip stock with fancy bordered checkered forearm and wrist, Schnabel forend, grip cap, solid rubber Winchester recoil pad and sling swivels. With shipping box (end label absent) and correct carton . CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 99% plus original blue finish with limited handling marks, some oxidation on the bolt and bolt shroud, crisp engraving, and crisp stock checkering. Mechanically excellent.

other 10 in this lot, in that it is marked in gold “1 of 1,000” on the right rear of the barrel and two gold inlaid bands around the muzzle. The rifle features a fine floral scroll engraved receiver with gold inlaid border accents, gold “WINCHESTER/-TRADE MARK-” on the left wall and serial number in gold on the right side of the receiver ring.
