Outstanding and Desirable Documented Consecutively Numbered Pair of Second Generation Colt Single Action Army Revolvers with Black Boxes and Factory Letter Shipped to Abercrombie & Fitch -A) Colt Single Action Army Revolver - Serial no. 20429SA, 45 Long Colt cal., 7 1/2 inch round bbl., blue/casehardened finish, hard rubber grips. According to the included factory letter, this outstanding consecutive pair
of Colt revolvers was shipped on August 13, 1958, to Abercrombie & Fitch at “Madison Avenue at 45th Street” in New York City in their current configuration. The letter notes “Consecutive serial numbers” in the “Special Features” section. The data in The Post-War Colt Single-Action Army Revolver, 1955-1975 lists 235 consecutive sets as having shipped in this configuration out of an estimated 1,129 total consecutive sets produced and a total of 10,030 Second Generation Colt Single Action Army revolvers were produced in
this configuration. The revolvers have the standard early Second Generation features and markings. The assembly numbers are also consecutive. They come with original factory black boxes numbered to the guns and factory papers including manuals. CONDITION: Near new in box. The revolver has only slight handling and storage marks and slight cylinder drag lines. Mechanically excellent. The
box is very good with some mild edge wear from handling and storage. B) Colt Single Action Army Revolver - Serial no. 20430SA, 45 Long Colt cal., 7 1/2 inch round bbl., blue/casehardened finish, hard rubber grips. As discussed in A.
CONDITION: Near new in box. The revolver has only slight handling and storage marks, slight cylinder drag lines, and some slight discoloration on the side of the hammer. Mechanically excellent. The box is fair and has a loose separated
