Colt/Turnbull John Adams & Son Signed Engraved Silver and Gold Plated Theodore Roosevelt Single Action Army Revolver with Carved Grips and Case - Serial no. TR19, 44 cal., 7 1/2 inch round bbl., silver/gold finish, carved
grips. Manufactured as a collaboration between Turnbull Restoration and John Adams & Son to replicate Theodore Roosevelt’s iconic silver and gold plated
Single Action Army revolver. This revolver is number 19 of the 25 made. The barrel features a wavy line engraved band at either end of the barrel with a spray of floral scroll surrounding the barrel address. The rear band extends onto the ejector rod housing which displays more floral scroll as well as a wavy line and dot motif on top. The frame and sides of the triggerguard show near full coverage floral scroll and geometric engraving with leaves on the topstrap and Roosevelt’s famous “TR” monogram on the recoil shield. There is a fan engraved on the top of the backstrap with floral scroll down the back and onto the butt. The cylinder features a band of engraving at the rear with floral scroll between the flutes. The work is signed with John Adams Sr.’s signature connected “JA” initials on the rear of the frame under the carved grips. The whole of the barrel, frame, triggerguard, and backstrap are silver plated with a gold plated ejector rod housing, cylinder, and hammer. Includes a commemorative Turnbull Restoration case, original shipping box,
and Colt blue box.
CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 99% plus original silver and gold finishes with an attractive patina on the silver, crisp engraving, and an attractive coloration on the grips. Case is excellent. This attractive revolver would make a standout piece in any collection!

John Adams Signed Engraved Colt Third Generation
Sheriff’s Model Single Action Army Revolver with Box and
Factory Letter - Serial no. SA69299, 45 Colt cal., 3 inch round
bbl., nickel finish, original grips. The included factory letter lists
this revolver as having a 3 inch barrel chambered in .45 Long
Colt with nickel finish as well as confirms the grip material
when shipped on May 25, 1989, to Lew Horton Distr. Co. Inc. in
Westboro, MA. A John Adams letter (copy) is also included stating
that he engraved the revolver with “B” plus coverage in 1995. The
engraving consists of “B” plus coverage American style scroll work
on the front sight, barrel, frame, trigger guard, and backstrap
with a starburst on either side of the frame and “HMS” on the backstrap. The underside of the barrel is signed “J ADAMS”. The original Colt heritage box is included. CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 99% plus original nickel finish with limited handling marks, a light cylinder drag line, and crisp engraving. Mechanically excellent. Box is very fine.

Philip L. Quigley Signed Master Engraved Colt Single Action Army Revolver - Serial no.
22862SA, 45 ACP cal., 4 3/4 inch round bbl., blue/ casehardened finish, walnut grips. Manufactured in 1958 and subsequently engraved by Master Engraver Philip L. Quigley. The barrel displays
a band of engraving and punch dots at the muzzle and breech with a spray of floral scroll and checkerboard engraving surrounding the barrel markings, and a fan on the front sight. The frame, triggerguard and backstrap are
adorned to match with the cylinder having alternating geometric and floral blooms on the chambers and a rope pattern at the rear. Amongst all of the magnificent engraving are flourishes of zig-zag line engraving, both wavy lines
and intertwining lines, with punch dots. The revolver is signed on the front of the frame “ENG PL
QUIGLEY”. The revolver wears a custom Ciracssian walnut grip. Included with the revolver is a letter
from Ben Lane listing the revolver in the current configuration when it was sold in 1985. CONDITION: Excellent overall as engraved by Master Engraver Philip L. Quigley, retaining 99% plus blue finish and case colors with minimal handling marks and crisp engraving. Grips are excellent with limited handling marks. Mechanically excellent.
