Excellent World War I German Clemen & Jung Naval Officer’s Lion Pommel Sword, Scabbard, and German Imperial Jack Flag - This pattern was adopted in 1890. The sword features a 32 3/4 inch quill point blade with naval and scroll pattern etching, “EISEN=/HAUER” on the left and right, and “CLEMEN & JUNG, SOLINGEN” on the spine. The gilt brass pommel has an anchor and crown motif on the guard that coordinates with the blade, a lion head pommel, and ribbed bone grip with wire wrap. Includes a black leather scabbard with gilt brass mounts and a 8 1/4 x 12 inch Imperial German Naval Jack from a captain’s car.
CONDITION: Excellent sword with only some minor age and storage related wear. The flag is fine and has mild age and storage related discoloration and moth holes.

Very Fine DWM Model 1914 Artillery Luger Semi-Automatic
Pistol with Holster and Snail Drum Magazine - Serial no.
9424k, 9 mm Luger cal., 7 7/8 inch round bbl., blue/straw finish,
walnut grips. Features fixed blade front and range adjustable tangent
rear sights, “1915” date on top of the chamber, and “DWM” monogram
on the front toggle link. “Crown/Gothic letter” proofs are marked on
the right side of the extension. Matching serial numbers on the frame, barrel, and extension, with matching “24” partials on the takedown lever, trigger, side plate, safety both toggle links, breech block, extractor, breech block catch, rear sight, and rear sight base. Fitted with straw colored small
parts, nitre blue pins, springs, and screws, and replacement checkered hardwood grips. Includes a nickel finished magazine with walnut base
numbered to another pistol, “BREHME/HILDESHEIM/1916” marked leather flap holster, cleaning rod, takedown tool, snail drum magazine numbered “295493,” and snail drum magazine metal covers.
CONDITION: Very fine, with 85% original blue finish and 40% plus straw colors remaining, with light edge wear, thinning, and scattered minor spotting. The grips are also very fine with a dent in the left panel and crisp checkering. Holster is fine as modified on back for belt. Mechanically excellent.

Desirable Pre-World War I Imperial German DWM Model 1906 Unaltered First Issue Navy Luger Semi-Automatic Pistol - Serial no. 7567a, 9 mm cal., 6 inch round bbl., blue finish, walnut grips. This is a solid representative example of an Imperial German DWM Model 1906 First Issue, unaltered, Navy Luger
pistol, one of approximately 8,000 of this model originally manufactured. These were the standard pre-World War
I Navy Luger issued to the Imperial German Navy all the
way through World War I and even into the Weimar era. This first issue Navy 1906 Luger has the desirable
first variation safety markings with “GESICHERT” in the lower position. The majority of these first issue Navy Lugers had their safety markings modified, with this rare example being one of the very few that escaped
this alteration and still retains its original safety marking in the lower position. The top of the chamber area is undated, with the standard “DWM” logo on the front toggle, 6 inch Navy barrel, two-position 100-200
meter Navy rear sight, grip safety, the underside of the barrel is marked with a “crown/M” Navy acceptance proof
with a “crown” firing proof on the left, the left of the barrel extension has the “crown” firing proof followed by double “crown/M”
Navy acceptance proof marks, and a “crown” proof is also located on the left of the breech block. Matching visible numbers besides the unnumbered (possibly replacement) checkered walnut grip panels, and a correct type Navy type magazine with nickel plated body and
numbered “1709” next to a “crown/M” Navy stamp on the walnut base with concentric circles. CONDITION: Very fine, retains 85% original blue finish with areas of
differing hues, some light edge wear and handling marks, and
a few areas of smooth brown patina. 60% original straw colors on the small components. Grips are also very fine, with a few light handling marks and defined checkering. Mechanically excellent.
