LOT 498 Factory Engraved Krieghoff Optima Drilling with Swarovski Scope - Serial no. 041549, 20/375 H&H Flanged gauge, 23 11/16 inch solid rib bbl., blue/casehardened finish, walnut stock. Optima Drillings are scarcely encountered in the United States as they are not sold here by Krieghoff. Built with blued steel with a blade front sight, flip-up rear sight, front sling swivel, and German style claw mounts holding a Swarovski Z6i 1-6x24mm scope on the matted solid rib, band of engraving at the breech, import mark under forend, 2005 dated German proofs, and chambers with extractors. The 20 gauge barrels have 3 inch chambers and choke constrictions of .019/.028 inches. The barrels are fitted to a richly case colored action which shows simple light border engraving and “KRIEGHOFF/OPTIMA” on the underside.
