Blued steel barrels with orange front and nickel mid bead sights on the matted vent rib, standard factory markings to the sides of the chambers, interchangeable chokes (“2”/”4” installed), and 1999 dated Italian proofs showing 2 3/4 inch chambers with automatic ejectors. Coin finished action with light scroll engraved borders and pivot pin with “Perazzi MX12” on the left and “Sporting” on the right. The gun features a single gold trigger and tang mount safety/ selector. Attractively figured, multi-point checkered forend with lightly engraved fittings and straight grip stock with a black rubber recoil pad. Included is a factory takedown case containing four extra chokes (0, 6, 8, and 10). Barrel and stock measurements (U/O): bore diameter nine inches from the breech both proofed at 18.4mm (.724 inches) and measured .726 inches; minimum wall thickness .032/.034 inches; 1 1/2 inch drop at comb; 2 3/16 inch drop at heel; 13 7/16 inch length of pull; weight 7 lbs. 10 oz. CONDITION: Very fine, retaining 99% original blue and 95% original coin finish with some freckling on the underside of the action and minor handling evidence. The wood is also very fine with a few minor dings and scratches and sharp checkering. Case interior deteriorating. Mechanically excellent.
