Upgraded Pre-64 Winchester Model 70 Super Grade Bolt Action Carbine in .250-3000 Savage - Serial no. 65076, 250-
3000 SAV cal., 20 inch round bbl., blue finish, walnut stock. Manufactured in 1946 and subsequently refurbished. Fitted with a ramped beaded blade front and elevation adjustable rear sights. The left side of the barrel is marked with the model and caliber with the Winchester address on the right. “WP” proofs are stamped on the barrel and receiver. The cloverleaf receiver is marked with the Winchester trademark on the left and serial number on the right of the ring. The floorplate is marked “-SUPER GRADE-”. Mounted in a multipoint checkered straight grain walnut stock with contrasting forend cap, sling loops, hard rubber grip cap, cheekpiece, and checkered steel buttplate.
CONDITION: Very fine as upgraded to current configuration, retaining 99% refinished blue finish with a few minor handling marks, a couple pin hole pitting spots under the finish, file marks on the buttplate, and crisp stock checkering. Mechanically excellent. Estimate: 2,000 - 3,000

Upgraded Pre-64 Winchester Model 70 Super Grade Bolt Action Carbine - Serial no. 82712, 270 Win cal., 20 inch round bbl., blue finish, walnut stock. Manufactured in 1948. Fitted with ramped, hooded, beaded blade front and rear sight dovetail filler block. The left side of the barrel is marked with
the Winchester address, model, and caliber. “WP” proofs are marked on the barrel and receiver. The receiver is marked with the Winchester trademark on the left and the serial number on the right of the receiver ring and topped off with a Lyman Model 48 peep sight. The aluminum floorplate is marked “- SUPER GRADE-”. Mounted in a multipoint checkered straight grain walnut pistol grip stock with contrasting forend cap, sling loops, hard rubber grip cap, cheekpiece, and checkered steel buttplate. CONDITION: Very fine as upgraded to current configuration, retaining 97% plus refinished blue finish with limited handling marks. Stock is very fine with some handling marks, dings and scratches, some varnish wear at the nosecap, and softened checkering. Mechanically excellent. Estimate: 1,800 - 2,750

The barrel is fitted with a ramped, hooded, beaded blade front sight and elevation adjustable rear sights. The barrel
is marked with the Winchester address, model, and caliber markings on the left. “WP” proofs are stamped on the left of the chamber (triple stamped) and receiver. The cloverleaf receiver is marked with the Winchester trademark on the left and serial number on the right of the receiver ring. The floorplate is marked “-SUPER GRADE-” Mounted in a multipoint checkered straight grain walnut pistol grip stock with contrasting forend cap, sling loops hard rubber grip cap, and checkered steel buttplate. CONDITION: Very fine as upgraded, retaining 99% plus refinished blue finish on the barreled action with a few light handling marks mostly in the form of high edge wear. Triggerguard
assembly retains 98% original blue. Wood is very fine with a few minor dings and scratches, some forend cap separation, and crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent. Estimate: 1,800 - 2,750

The left side of the barrel is marked with the Winchester address and model and caliber markings. “WP” proofs are stamped on the chamber and receiver. The straight tang receiver is marked with the Winchester trademark on the left and serial number on the right of the receiver ring. The floorplate is marked “-SUPER GRADE-”. Mounted in a multipoint checkered straight grain walnut pistol grip stock with contrasting forend tip, sling loops, blued steel grip cap, and checkered aluminum buttplate. CONDITION: Very fine as professionally refinished, retaining 98% plus blue finish on the barreled action with a few minor handling marks. Stock is very fine with some scattered dings and
scratches and overall crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent. Estimate: 1,800 - 2,750

The straight tang receiver is marked with the Winchester trademark on the left and serial number on the right of the receiver ring. Mounted in a multipoint checkered straight grain walnut pistol grip stock with sling loops and checkered aluminum buttplate. CONDITION: Very fine as partially professionally refinished, retaining 97% plus original blue finish on the barrel with some minor handling marks concentrated around the edges of the refinished triggerguard and floorplate. The stock is also very fine with minor dings and scratches and overall crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent. Estimate: 1,400 - 2,250

First Year Production Winchester Model 70 Bolt Action Rifle - Serial no. 2186, 30-06 cal., 24 inch round bbl., blue finish, walnut stock. Manufactured in 1936, the first year of Model 70 production. The barrel is fitted with a ramped beaded blade front sight and elevation adjustable rear sight, and is marked with the model and caliber marking on the left
with the Winchester address on the right. A Winchester “WP” proof is stamped on the left side of both the chamber and the receiver. The cloverleaf receiver is marked with the Winchester makers mark on the left and the serial number on the right of the receiver ring, and fitted with a Lyman Model 48 peep sight. Mounted in a checkered straight grain walnut pistol grip stock with checkered steel buttplate. CONDITION: Very fine as partially professionally refinished, retaining 95% refinished blue on the barrel and 98% original blue on the barrel with handling marks, some slightly softened markings/proofs, and a few dings under the finish. The revarnished stock is very fine with some handling wear around the slightly softened checkering and scattered dings and scratches. Mechanically excellent.
