70 .38 Super National Match Gold Cup Semi-Automatic
Pistol with Box - Serial no. 71N08754, 38 cal., 5 inch round
bbl., nickel finish, original grips. Fitted with Patridge blade front
and adjustable rear sights on a solid matted rib. Nearly all of the surfaces display expertly executed floral scroll engraving with matted backgrounds.
The pistol features all nitre blue small parts and pins. Under
the left grip panel is singed “JOHN K PEASE ENGR.” Fitted with
a set of checkered Colt medallion grips. Includes original
shipping box with end label confirming the grip material, “D”
grade master engraving, and a Colt blue box.
CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 99% plus original blue finish, minimal handling marks, and crisp engraving and grip checkering. Mechanically excellent. Box is very fine. Estimate: 3,500 - 5,500

United Technologies and Cabot Guns of Cabot, Pennsylvania. The Jones 1911 features fixed blade front and adjustable Novak notch sights, forward and rear slide checkering, “Jones 1911” marking on the right side of the slide, “CABOT GUNS” marked frame, Cabot Guns three-star skeletonized trigger, serrated skeletonized hammer, extended beavertail grip safety, and checkered front and rear grip straps. Consecutively numbered to gun “B” of this lot. With Emmebi leather display case for both pistols.
CONDITION: Near new in case with only light handling marks. Mechanically excellent. Case is excellent. B) Penn United/Cabot Guns Jones Model 1911 Semi-Automatic Pistol - Serial no.
