According to "The Standard Catalog of Smith & Wesson" by Supica and Nahas, only 79 Smith & Wesson Registered Magnum revolvers were produced with a 7-1/2 inch barrel.

Smith & Wesson .357 Registered Magnum Double Action Revolver with Rare 7 1/2 Inch Barrel - Serial no. 56710, 357 magnum cal., 7 1/2 inch solid rib bbl., blue finish, walnut grips. This particular Registered Magnum (reg. no. 3036) is one of only 79 revolvers manufactured with 7 1/2 inch barrels. The revolver has a pinned blade front sight, an adjustable square notch rear sight, and S&W medallion checkered Magna grips with the right panel numbered to a different gun (207061). Matching serial numbers appear on the butt, cylinder, and ejector shroud. CONDITION: Excellent, retaining 95% plus original blue finish with scattered high edge wear, a cylinder drag line, and scattered handling marks. 95% original case colors remain on the hammer and trigger. The left grip panel has a chip near the toe; otherwise, the grips are fine with handling marks and softened checkering. Mechanically excellent. Provenance: The Jon M. Maxwell Collection. Extremely Rare, Documented Smith & Wesson K-32 Hand Ejector First Model Target Double Action
Revolver with Factory Letter - Serial no. 677405, 32 S&W Long cal., 6 inch round bbl., blue finish, walnut grips.
This is one of only 94 K-32 Hand Ejector Target revolvers Smith & Wesson manufactured from 1936 to 1941.
These revolvers are found in the 653388-682207 serial number range and are built on the square butt K target
frame with 5 screws and pinned 6 inch round barrel. It is one of the rarest pre-war K frame revolvers manufactured
by S&W with only approximately 94 manufactured. After World War II this model became part of the K-22/K-32/K-38 Masterpiece series of target revolvers. The accompanying factory letter states the revolver was shipped on May 15, 1940, and delivered to Clapp & Treat Co. of Hartford, Connecticut, with a 6 inch barrel, blue finish, and checkered walnut Magna
grips. Matching serial numbers appear on the butt, cylinder, and barrel.
CONDITION: Exceptionally fine, retaining 95% original blue finish with a cylinder drag line, patch of pitting on the sideplate, a few blemishes on the underside of the barrel, and edge wear. 97% original case colors remain on the hammer and trigger. The grips are excellent with overall crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent. Estimate: 5,500 - 8,500

Wesson .44 Hand Ejector First Model Triple Lock Target
Double Action Revolver - Serial no. 723, 44 S&W special cal.,
6 1/2 inch round bbl., blue finish, walnut grips. Manufactured in
1907. The revolver features blade front and adjustable rear sights, and is fitted with a set of S&W medallion checkered walnut grips. The early three digit serial number is marked on the barrel, cylinder, and butt.
CONDITION: Excellent, retaining 90% plus original blue finish with a few handling marks, muzzle wear, some light spotting, and a cylinder drag line. Grips are very fine with some minor dings and scratches and crisp grip checkering. Mechanically excellent.
