Cased Pair of Relief Chiseled, Engraved, and Relief Carved Percussion Target Pistols
-A) Percussion Target Pistol - NSN, 57 cal., 8 3/4 inch round bbl., bright/casehardened/gold finish, walnut stock. The etched Damascus barrels have fine “poly-groove” rifling, silver blade front sights, gold banded patent breeches with shell pattern engraved bolsters, and notch and folding leaf rear sights on the standing breeches which are numbered “1” and “2” respectively and have floral engraving. The locks feature finely engraved/ chiseled bestial hammers, floral wreaths on the fences, and floral and border engraving. The furniture also features coordinating engraving, including a chiseled lion motif on the trigger guard spurs and masks engraved on the small compartments in the pommels. The full-length stocks have finely checkered wrists, blank silver escutcheons and raised relief floral and shell carving. The pair comes in a fitted case with a suite of loading and maintenance equipment.
CONDITION: Very good with gray patina and distinct textured Damascus patterns along the barrel, mix of original case colors and gray and brown patina on the lock and furniture, bright gold bands, crisp engraving, and cracked and repaired trigger guard tang. The stock is fine and has some wear in the otherwise crisp checkering, distinct carving, a pinned crack on the left at the breech, and some scratches and dings. Mechanically fine. The case is also good and has moderate age and storage related wear including some chips, broken hinge, and fading. The accessories are generally very fine and retain strong original case colors and have minor wear.
B) Percussion Target Pistol - NSN, 57 cal., 8 3/4 inch round bbl., bright/casehardened/gold finish, walnut stock. CONDITION: Very good with gray patina and distinct textured Damascus patterns on the barrel, some original case colors and gray and brown patina on the lock and furniture, bright gold bands, a faint crack by the screw
on the trigger guard tang, and crisp engraving. The stock is fine and has minor wear in the otherwise crisp checkering, distinct carving, and light scratches and dings. Mechanically fine.

 Cased Engraved Le Page-Moutier Percussion Double Rifle and Pair of Percussion Pocket Pistols
-A) Le Page-Moutier Double Rifle - NSN, 22 bore cal., 17 3/4 inch solid rib bbl., brown/casehardened finish, walnut stock. This
attractive modern custom cased set contains a 22 bore double rifle, a pair of attractive engraved and carved boxlock percussion pocket
pistols, a powder flask, 22 bore and 36 bore ball molds (latter doubling as a loading rod), cap tin, measure, bore brush, takedown
rod, ornate carved container and nipple wrench, and a key. The double rifle is signed “Fni P. Lepage Moutier a Paris” on top of the rib
indicating it was finished by the famous Le Page shop in Paris under Gilles Michel Louis Moutier-Le Page c. 1842-1868. The underside of
the browned Damascus barrels are struck with Liege proof marks. The rib is also fitted with a dovetailed front sight with small bead and
a dovetailed three-leaf rear sight (one standing, two folding). The locks and furniture feature scroll and border engraving. The stock has
a checkered wrist. Sling rings are fitted to the underside of the butt and the middle ramrod pipe, and the rifle is equipped
with an iron ramrod.
CONDITION: Very good with light “tobacco” brown refurbished finish and Damascus patterns visible along the barrels, mostly gray
patina overall, some minor oxidation/pitting, and general mild overall wear. The stock is fine and has distinct checkering, numerous
dings and scratches, and edge wear. Mechanically fine. The custom case and accessories are very good with generally minor age and storage related wear.
B) Pocket Pistol - NSN, 10 mm cal., 2 3/4 inch round bbl., blue/bright finish, walnut grips. The pocket pistols are only marked with “5” and “o” (B) and “5” markings (C) and feature screw- off blued Damascus barrels, bright boxlock actions with scroll engraving and folding triggers, and fluted grips with some carving at the flats.
CONDITION: Fine with most of the refurbished finish and twist patterns, mostly bright action and grip cap, and mild wear. Mechanically fine.
C) Pocket Pistol - NSN, 10 mm cal., 2 3/4 inch round bbl., blue/bright finish, walnut grips.
CONDITION: Fine with most of the refurbished blue finish and twist patterns, mostly bright action and grip cap, and mild wear. Mechanically fine.
