Factory Engraved Colt Police Positive Double
Action Revolver with Pearl Grips, Holster,
and Factory Letter - Serial no. 217649, 32 police
cal., 4 inch round bbl., blue finish, pearl grips. The
included factory letter states the revolver was to loan
account Von Lengerke & Antoine of Chicago on May 21,
1926 with a 4 inch barrel in .32 caliber, blue finish, factory
engraved, and pearl stocks. This was a single gun shipment.
Fitted with half moon blade front and frame notch rear sights. The barrel
displays a wedge of floral scroll engraving on either side which surrounds the model and caliber marking. The frame is engraved with floral scroll, light wavy line borders at the rear, geometric motifs on the yoke and crane, underside of the frame, and front of the top strap. Light flourishes of floral scroll are cut between the flutes. The revolver is fitted with a pair of Colt medallion pearl grips. Includes an Audley safety holster.
CONDITION: Excellent, with 95% original blue finish with light handling marks, high edge wear, a cylinder drag line, some light spotting on the forward cylinder, and crisp engraving. Grips are excellent with fiery coloration. Mechanically excellent. Holster is very good with wear from use.

World War I Era Colt New Service Model
Double Action Revolver in .455 Eley - Serial
no. 69802, 455 Eley cal., 5 1/2 inch round bbl.,
blue finish, hard rubber grips. Manufactured in
1914, the barrel is marked with the standard
two-line address/patent dates on top and “NEW SERVICE
455 ELEY” on the left. The left of the frame has the
Rampant Colt and the left of the trigger guard is marked
“VP” and “3”. There are British proofs on the barrel, frame,
and cylinder. It is fitted with blade front and frame notch rear sights and a pair of checkered hard rubber grips with “COLT” in ovals at the tops.
CONDITION: Very fine, retains 70% of the original blue finish with some mild holster type wear and some scattered light spotting. The grips are also very fine with a few scattered light handling marks. Mechanically excellent. Estimate: 1,100 - 1,600

Excellent Colt New Army/New Navy Double
Action Revolver with Pennsylvania National
Guard Inscription - Serial no. 219864, 38 LC cal.,
6 inch round bbl., blue finish, hard rubber grips.
Manufactured in 1903. Matching assembly numbers on the
cylinder latch, frame, crane, and both grip panels. The back
strap is inscribed “Capt. Geo. W. Coxe/Co. L 9th Regt. N.G.P.” A
Captain George W. Coxe of the 9th Regiment is listed in the “Report
of the Adjutant-General of Pennsylvania” (1910) and “Official Documents
Comprising the Department and Other Reports, Made to the Governor, Senate and House of
Representative of Pennsylvania, Vol. 1” (1913). Coxe (1874-1958) would later be promoted to
major, retire from the Pennsylvania Guard with nearly 30 years, and serve as a public school
administrator. During WWI, the 9th Infantry was reorganized into regiment of field artillery
(109th) assigned to the 28th Division, seeing combat on the Western Front in France, and Coxe
commanded the Second Battalion. With a brown leather ammo pouch marked, “ROCK ISLAND/ARSENAL/1907./ H.E.K.” on the back along with C.A.O.
CONDITION: Excellent, retaining 95% original bright blue finish with the grip strap thinning to a brown and some minor high edge wear. 85% original niter blue remains on the hammer and trigger. The grips are also excellent with crisp checkering overall.

Colt New Service Model Double Action Revolver with Scarce Dual Caliber .44
Russian/S&W Caliber
Marking and Original Box - Serial no. 333129, 44 Russian S&W special cal., 4 1/2 inch round bbl., blue
finish, walnut grips. Manufactured in 1932, with a period non-factory added German silver inlaid blade front and
notch rear sights, the standard two-line address and patent dates on top of the barrel, “Rampant Colt” logo marked on the left
of the frame, “VP” and “3” marked on the left of the trigger guard, model marking and desirable caliber marking “RUSSIAN AND/S&W SPECIAL” and “44” on the left side of the barrel, and a casehardened lanyard loop on the butt. Fitted with a pair of checkered walnut grips with gold Colt medallions and matching serial numbers written on the interior of each panel in pencil. Includes the Colt factory black box with preserved end label confirming the model, caliber, barrel length, and finish, along with preserved interior label with script both in English and Spanish.
CONDITION: Excellent, retaining 97% plus original blue finish with limited minor edge wear, a faint cylinder drag line,
slight fading on the grip frame, minor smooth brown patina on the hammer, and light spotting/pitting on the grip
frame under the grips. The grips are excellent with crisp checkering. Box is very fine. Mechanically excellent.
