Outstanding Colt Model
1908 Pocket Hammerless
Semi-Automatic Pistol with
    LOT 3367
First Year Production Colt .38 Super
Semi-Automatic Pistol - Serial no. 4534, 38 super auto cal., 5 inch round bbl., blue finish, walnut grips.
Manufactured in 1929, the first year of production. These Super .38 pistols were
first shown to the public at the August 1928 Camp Perry National Matches and were
available for purchase by the start of 1929. The left side of the matching number
slide is marked with the two-line address and patent dates while the right side bears
the caliber marking along with the Rampant Colt. The serial number is on the right
of the frame, the left of the trigger guard is marked “1” over “VP”, and the right of the
trigger guard is marked “K60”. The unmarked barrel is blued with a polished chamber
hood. Fitted with a replacement beaded blade front sight and notch rear sight, wide
checkered hammer, long grip safety, arched checkered mainspring housing, checkered walnut grips, and a two-tone magazine marked “COLT” and “SUPER/38 AUTO” on the base.
CONDITION: Fine, retains 70% of the original blue finish with some light edge/handling wear and some scattered light handling marks. The grips are also fine with a few scattered light handling marks and otherwise crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent.

Manufactured in 1936, this is an very fine example of a pre-World War II Colt Ace
pistol. Blade front and adjustable notch rear sights, the two-line address and patent
dates on the left side of the slide, the Rampant Colt behind the serrations, and the
Colt Ace logo and caliber markings on the right. The frame is marked “60” on the
right side of the trigger guard, “X/VP” on the left and fitted with a short checkered
trigger, wide checkered hammer, checkered arched mainspring housing, a set of fully
checkered grips, and a two-tone magazine with Colt Ace marked base.
CONDITION: Excellent, retains 90% plus of the bright original blue finish with some
scattered light handling marks and some light edge wear accompanied by very light spotting. The grips are also very fine with a few scattered light handling marks. Mechanically excellent.
Box - Serial no. 119240, 380 ACP cal., 3
3/4 inch round bbl., blue finish, walnut
grips. Manufactured in 1936, this is an
outstanding example of a Colt Model
1908 pocket hammerless. The left side
of the slide is marked with the standard
two-line address and patent dates with
the Rampant Colt behind the serrations. The right side has the standard two line caliber marking. The serial number is marked on the left of the frame. The left
of the trigger guard is marked “W/VP”, while the right
is marked “75”. It is fitted with blade and notch sight
as well as a pair of checkered walnut grips with Colt medallions. Includes a correct factory box hand marked “2380 3/4aa/Hold/UM Co/WB” in pencil on the bottom and a cleaning brush.
CONDITION: Excellent overall, retains 99% plus of the original blue finish with only the slightest handling marks and crisp checkering on the grips. Mechanically excellent. The box is very fine with some very light edge/corner wear. Provenance: The TTT Collection.

Pearl Grips - Serial no. 314015, 25 ACP cal., 2 inch round
bbl., blue finish, pearl grips. Manufactured in 1922 with standard two-line address/patent dates and Rampant Colt
on the left of the slide, caliber marking on the right, serial number on the left of the frame, “1” over “VP” on the left of the trigger guard, and “89” on the right of the trigger guard. It is fitted with blade and notch sights in a groove on top of the slide and a pair of smooth pearl grips with Colt medallions. Includes the original factory box with “PEARL” marked end label and a bore brush.
CONDITION: Excellent, retains 98% plus of the original blue finish and 99% of the vibrant original case colors on the trigger, grip safety, and slide stop, with only the slightest wear on the leading edges of the slide. The grips are also excellent with only the slightest handling marks. Mechanically excellent. The box is excellent with some light handling/storage wear.
