Russian/Neal Smith RPG-7D Paratrooper Shoulder Fired Rocket Launcher, Class III/NFA Destructive Device, with Scope - Serial no. 453, 40 mm cal., 37 1/2 inch round bbl., black finish, synthetic grips. Manufactured in the Soviet Union and dated “1973” on the trigger housing, this is a fine RPG-7D shoulder fired recoilless rocket launcher. One of the signature weapons of the USSR as well as one of the most famous rocket launchers of the 20th century,
the RPG-7 was developed in the 1960s and remains
in active production and service to this day, with new payloads developed to keep the launcher relevant on the 21st century battlefield. The “7D” variant uses a takedown launch tube, breaking down into a 23 inch front section with all the firing and aiming hardware and a 16 inch rear section. The front section is fitted with a set of flip up iron sights and a left side scope rail, dual pistol grips, and a rebounding hammer mechanism with a pushbutton safety. The underside of the front tube bears the address of Neal Smith of Mentor, Ohio, who is recorded as the manufacturer/ importer for tax stamp purposes, and the serial number (transliterated: (N) IaL453) on the left side of the housing above the “arrow in oval” factory mark and date. Both the front and rear sections are finished with black paint, with a wood panel veneer around the central section of the tube and a wide exhaust cone at the rear. Included with the lot is a PGO-7B scope.
CONDITION: Very fine, with 80% plus matte black finish, showing some light scuffs and flakes, with areas of brown patinated steel visible. A few screws are absent from the clamps retaining the wood veneer on the rear section of the tube, otherwise the veneer is in good order with mild scuffs and some crazing of the varnish. Optics are in good order, with the illuminator untested. Mechanically excellent. NOTE: This Destructive Device is a National Firearms Act (NFA), fully transferable Class 3, which is registered with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, (BATFE) under the provisions of 18 U.S.C. Chapter 44 and 27 CFR part 479, National Firearms Act.

Three Czech PG-7 Sub-Caliber Training Devices for the RPG-7 Anti-Tank Weapon, with Case -A) PG-7 Training Device - Serial no. C-0319, 7.62x39 mm , 15 3/4 inch round bbl., yellow/black finish. Developed as a training device to familiarize soldiers with the RPG-7 shoulder-fired anti-tank weapon, the PG-7 sub-caliber training device
is effectively a single shot bolt action barreled receiver installed in a housing shaped like a shaped-charge rocket. With these devices, a crew could practice all the steps
for preparing the RPG-7 for action and firing for accuracy in a way massively cheaper and more forgiving of operator error than firing live rockets. Each device has a yellow painted “warhead” and black body with “GPC” import marks and “CZO-1968” date, and a screw-adjustable muzzle collar for fine tuning the device. A recessed trigger button and a spring loaded safety lever are installed on the underside of the receiver, and a white plastic guide block is installed on top to interface with a matching notch on the RPG-7 to ensure proper alignment of the trigger button with the firing pin of the launcher; the guide blocks on A and C have been trimmed down and function with the RPG-7D launcher in the previous lot, and the block on B has been untouched. All three come in a green hardwood transport case.
CONDITION: Fine as refinished, with 80% plus reapplied paint, mild scuffs and scratches, and some spotting. The front of the “warhead” shows some denting and a crack. The case shows wear and tear. Mechanically very good. B) PG-7 Training Device - Serial no. D-0021, 7.62x39 mm , 15 3/4 inch round bbl., yellow/blue finish. As A, with a blued finish to the main body.
