Scarce Munich Police “PDM” Marked Walther
PPK Semi-Automatic Pistol with “Duralumin”
Alloy Frame - Serial no. 899178, 7.65 mm auto cal.,
3 1/4 inch round bbl., blue/anodized finish, plastic grips. Manufactured prior to the outbreak of World War II, this pistol falls near the very end of the estimated serial number range of 885000-899500 cited by Marschall and shows the distinctive features of the Munich Police PPK, including the “duralumin”
alloy frame, heel-mounted magazine release, and widened
muzzle with appropriately adjusted slide. “PDM/178”
marked on the left of the frame. “PDM” marked Walthers
are associated with the police forces in Munich, particularly
during Heinrich Himmler’s tenure as provisional president
of the Munich Police. “Crown/N” proofs on the slide, chamber hood and muzzle. The interior of the slide is properly hand-numbered to the pistol. Fitted with an early 90 degree safety, ring hammer, smooth trigger, checkered wraparound grips with matching colored grip extension on the magazine. Includes an extra flat base magazine.
CONDITION: Excellent, retains 95% original blue finish with some light edge wear and a few light handling marks. Besides a crack visible on the right side, the grip is otherwise very fine. Mechanically excellent.

Commercial Walther Model PP Semi-Automatic
Pistol in Very Scarce 9 mm Kurz with Holster and
Extra Magazine - Serial no. 155697P, 9 mm Kurz (380
Auto) cal., 3 3/4 inch round bbl., blue finish, plastic
grips. Manufactured in 1939 for the commercial
market. Features fixed blade front and notch rear
sights, standard markings on the left of the slide,
ring hammer, and 60 degree safety. The right side
of the chamber and slide are “crown/N” commercial
proofed. Fitted with a pair of “Walther banner”
marked checkered plastic grips with a polymer pinky
extension on the “Cal. 9m/m” marked magazine.
Includes an extra magazine (also marked “Cal. 9m/m”)
and leather flap holster marked with “McDowell/3753”
and “JJP/8 digit number” on the interior.
CONDITION: Exceptionally fine, retaining 85% original blue finish with light edge wear, slight thinning on the slide, and limited minor handling marks. The grips are excellent with crisp checkering. Holster is very fine with supple leather. mechanically excellent.

Very Fine Pre-World War II RZM Marked Walther
PPK Semi-Automatic Pistol with Holster - Serial no.
836347, 7.65 mm auto cal., 3 1/4 inch round bbl., blue
finish, plastic grips. The Reichszeugmeisterei (RZM)
served as the quartermasters office of the National
Socialists Party and later became the chief authority
on textiles in the Third Reich. Features fixed blade front
and notch rear sights along with standard markings,
“crown/N” proofs on the barrel and slide, and the
addition of the etched circular “RZM” logo on the left
side of the slide between the model marking and the
serrations. Fitted with serrated ring hammer, 90 degree
safety, and checkered brown plastic “WALTHER” banner
grips with matching colored grip extension. Includes
a “D.G.R.M.” marked leather flap holster with “WFKK” written on the interior in
black ink.
CONDITION: Very fine, retaining 85% plus original blue finish with light edge
wear most prominent at the muzzle, thinning on the controls, faint spotting,
and minor handling marks. Grips are also very fine with crisp checkering. Holster is also very fine with supple leather and two added holes on the belt loop. Mechanically excellent.

Factory Presentation Cased Gold Finished Walther Model 8 Semi-Automatic Pistol - Serial no. 450174, 6.35 mm cal.,
2 3/4 inch round bbl., gold finish, smooth grips. Introduced
in 1920, this Walther Model 8 has an attractive full coverage gold finish and a fine set of smooth grip panels with “CW” and “6,35” inlaid panels. Fixed sights, with the one-line address on the right side of the slide, “Walthers Patent Mod. 8.” on the left side over the Walther banner and “crown/N” proofs on the slide, frame and muzzle. The magazine is gold finished to match the pistol, with a recessed “W” in the base. Included with the pistol is a hardwood case, which has a velvet lined French-cut interior in the bottom and a lid cushion bearing the Walther banner and German text that translates as “The best for personal protection is the new Walther Pistol Model 8, the newest product from
the Walther Weapons Factory of Zella-Mehlis, Thuringia”, suggesting that the set was intended for a sales display or similar exhibition.
CONDITION: Fine, with 30% plus original gold finish, strongest around the grips, with a mixed brown and gray patina on the remainder, some light handling marks, and minor spotting.
The grips are fine, with attractive aging of the grain, attractive color, and minor handling marks. The case is very good, with some play developing in the hinges and staining of the interior. Mechanically excellent.

Scarce German Double “Eagle/37” Proofed Sauer Model 38H Semi-Automatic Pistol with Holster and Extra Magazine - Serial no. 272001, 7.65 mm cal., 3 1/2 inch round bbl., blue finish, synthetic grips. Blade front and notch rear
sights, with the two-line Sauer address and caliber marking on the left side of the slide, “PATENT” on the right, a “eagle/N” military type proof on the right side of the frame, slide
and muzzle, and two “eagle/37” proof marks on
the left side of the triggerguard. Fitted with a set
of checkered grip panels, with the “SuS” logo on
the left panel. Included with the pistol is a 1940
dated Genschow holster with faint black ink Sauer
markings on the interior, extra magazine, manual,
and a copy of a provenance letter. The letter states
the pistol was a U.S. G.I. bring-back from World War II, reportedly acquired in a wartime gun swap and retained by the G.I. as their personal nightstand gun for decades after the war.
CONDITION: Extremely fine, with 90% of the original blue finish, showing
bright wear along the high edges, a patch of dark oxidization/pitting on the
right side of the slide, and light handling marks. The grips are excellent, with
minor dings, oversized screws, and minor tool marks on the right grip screw. The holster is fine
, with some cracking and scuffing. The cocking lever intermittently fails to cock the hammer, the de-cock function operates properly, otherwise mechanically functions fine.

Walther Pre-War Commercial Production PP Semi-Automatic
Pistol in 22 Long Rifle - Serial no. 887362, 22 LR cal., 3 3/4 inch round bbl.,
blue finish, plastic grips. Features fixed blade front and notch rear sights, with
the standard Walther banner, address, caliber and model markings on the slide.
The muzzle, chamber, and left side of the side are marked with “crown/N” proofs. A hand-scribed matching number is present inside the slide. Fitted with a 90 degree safety, ring hammer, smooth trigger, a pair of black Walther banner plastic grips, and a blued magazine with “target” style black plastic grip extension.
CONDITION: Excellent, with 97% bright original high polish blue finish, showing some minor dings around the rear of the frame and slide, light scratches and a small amount of spotting overall. The grips are also excellent, with a few light dings, and the extension has some chips absent from the rear and a crack forming in the bottom.
