  The barrels of both guns are fitted to a highly attractive coin finished self-opening hand detachable sidelock action which display lovely tight scroll engraving surrounding “DELUXE” and “A-10/AMERICAN” marked on the underside, a gold “1” or “2” on the toplever, gold plated pins, a pair of beautifully executed game scenes which are cut in beautiful detail and display a pointer preparing to flush a pair of pheasant cocks in the high grass on the left lockplate and a setter about to flush a pheasant
cock on the right lockplate. Each gun features a single gold trigger with adjustable length of pull and a tang mounted automatic safety/selector. The guns are both mounted in an exceptionally well-figured and multi-point checkered forend with engraved and coin finished fittings, a gold “1” or “2” on the shoe, and a gold Great Seal of the
United States along with a straight grip stock with factory rubber recoil pad. Barrel and stock measurements (U/O): bore diameter nine inches from the breech .617/.618 inches; minimum wall thickness .029/.030 inches; 1 7/16 inch drop at comb; 1 7/8 inch drop at heel; 14 13/16 inch length of pull; weight 6 lbs. 4 oz.
CONDITION: Excellent, retaining 99% original blue and coin finishes with minor handling evidence and some
light dried grease on the lockplates. The wood is also excellent with a few tiny scratches, a stress line at the upper tang, and sharp checkering. Mechanically excellent. B) Connecticut Shotgun Manufacturing Co. A-10 American Deluxe Shotgun - Serial no. A10-001085, 20 gauge, 30 inch vent rib bbl., blue/coin finish, walnut stock. As described in “A”. This pair is consecutively serialized with the next lot. Barrel and stock measurements (U/O): bore diameter nine inches from the breech .617/.617 inches; minimum wall thickness .029/.028 inches; 1 7/16 inch drop at comb; 2 inch drop at heel; 14 13/16 inch length of pull; weight 6 lbs. 2 oz.

The wood is also excellent with a few tiny scratches, a strell line at the upper tang, and sharp checkering. The safety has been deactivated, otherwise mechanically excellent. A great chance to own a pair of America’s finest production guns!
