finish, metal stock. The M249S Para is a semi-automatic only version of the U.S. military issued M249
Para Squad Automatic Weapon (SAW) manufactured by Fabrique Nationale. The M249 Para (Paratrooper) is
a more compact variant of the SAW with a 16 inch barrel and telescoping metal buttstock assembly, intended
for use by airborne and armored infantry squads where the full size M249 would prove too cumbersome. Features a hooded post front sight, windage
and elevation adjustable rear peep sight, top cover integrated Picatinny rail, belt box mount and left side mounted STANAG pattern magazine well, quick change barrel design, folding bipod, and folding carry handle. It is fitted with polymer heat shield, ribbed forend and ribbed pistol grip. Includes original box, polymer ammunition link box, disintegrating metal ammunition links, one STANAG pattern magazine, user’s manual, and action lock.
CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 99% original phosphate and black finishes, with limited minor handling marks mostly found on the buttstock. Mechanically excellent. Estimate: 8,000 - 12,000

top Picatinny rail as well as mounting points for rail sections on the sides and bottom, Picatinny rail running across the top of the receiver, AR pattern trigger and safety, Ergo rubberized grip, and folding Magpul PRS2 buttstock with adjustable cheek riser and buttpad. Includes an Alexander Arms hard case fitted for the rifle and three extra magazines.

The left side of the receiver is marked “.308 MATCH” while the right side is marked “FABRIQUE NATIONALE HERSTAL/MADE IN BELGIUM/STEYR SECAUCUS N.J.” The fire controls on the left side of the lower receiver are marked “S/R.” Fitted with a ventilated polymer handguard, smooth polymer pistol grip, and metal side folding buttstock. CONDITION: Excellent, retaining 97% plus original black finish with a few scattered dings, limited minor edge wear, and limited handling marks. The polymer furniture is exceptionally fine with scrapes on both sides of the handguard from the folding bipod. Mechanically excellent.
