Desirable Fabrique Nationale FALO Style FAL Semi-Automatic Rifle
 with Bipod - Serial no. 2508402, 308 Match cal., 20 1/2 inch heavy round bbl., matte
black finish, synthetic stock. Manufactured in Belgium after FN went through the “G Series” debacle with the BATFE, and made
appropriate adjustments to the commercial FAL to pass federal muster. Configured after FN’s light machine gun version of the FAL called the “FALO,” with heavier barrel, barrel mounted bipod, and beefier handguard. Fitted with winged post front and range adjustable peep rear sights, ported muzzle device, hand-adjustable gas system, folding wire carry handle, folding
metal bipod with improvised mount, and “B-SQUARE” marked replacement top cover with eight integrated Picatinny rail slots. The left side of the receiver is marked “.308 MATCH” while the right side is marked “FABRIQUE NATIONALE HERSTAL/MADE IN BELGIUM/GUN SOUTH INC., TRUSSVILLE AL.” Fitted with a heavy profile grasping groove hardwood handguard, smooth polymer pistol grip, and smooth polymer buttstock with rubber butt pad. Includes a black nylon sling and certificate that states the rifle was the former personal property of Wildey J. Moore, founder of Wildey Firearms Company Inc. Magazine is absent. CONDITION: Exceptionally fine as refinished, retaining 97% re-applied matte black paint with ejection chipping under the new finish, light edge wear, and limited minor scuffs. The bipod retainer spring is absent. The stock is excellent with limited light handling evidence. Mechanically excellent. Provenance: The Wildey J. Moore Collection; Property of a Gentleman. the SPAS-12 (Special Purpose Automatic Shotgun) is a dual action platform with the ability to swap between semi-automatic and pump action modes of fire. The inclusion of the pump action feature was intended to allow the platform to also reliably cycle specialized low pressure loads, like bean bag or tear gas rounds. Features fixed blade front and peep rear sights, 2 3/4 inch chamber, stamped metal heat shield, and folding stamped metal stock. The receiver has standard markings and features, including a F.I.E. Corp. import mark on the left side, an enlarged rotary safety lever, and 1986 date code on the bottom. Fitted with a ribbed polymer slide and pistol grip. Includes a web sling and user’s manual. CONDITION: Excellent, with 97% plus original phosphate finish with limited light cycling wear
and minor edge wear on the stock. The polymer furniture is also excellent. Mechanically excellent. Estimate: 5,500 - 6,500
round bbl., phosphate finish, metal stock. One of approximately 180 imported between 1989-1994, featuring a dual-action mechanism that can be changed from pump action to semi-automatic fire modes. Features winged blade front and notch rear sights, “FIE” barrel, “FRANCHI SPAS 15” in red paint on both sides of the upper receiver, “F-S” marked safety, and side folding skeleton stock. Fitted with a duckbill style compensating choke for flatter spread. Includes a green web sling and three extra magazines. Measurements: 2 3/4 inch chamber and 13 5/16 inch length of pull.
CONDITION: Excellent overall, with 98% plus original finish retained with light handling marks. Mechanically excellent.
