LOT 3733 Desirable Pre-Ban Heckler & Koch HK91 Semi-Automatic Rifle - Serial no. A057366, 308 Win cal., 18 inch round bbl., matte black finish, metal stock. Released in 1974, the HK91 was developed as a U.S. civilian sales version of Heckler & Koch’s venerable G3 select-fire, roller-delayed battle rifle, with a shelf-pattern receiver to prevent the installation of select-fire internals. Manufactured in 1982. Features hooded blade front and four position drum rear sight, birdcage flash hider, textured triangular handguard, finger groove grip with thumb rest, collapsible buttstock, and colored “0/1” selector markings. Includes three extra magazines. CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 99% original matte black finish with a few minor handling marks. Mechanically excellent. Estimate: 3,500 - 5,000 LOT 3734 Scarce Pre-Ban Beretta AR70/Mod.70 Sport Semi-Automatic Rifle - Serial no. M32197, 223 Rem cal., 17 1/2 inch round bbl., black finish, synthetic stock. A semi-automatic sporting version of the Beretta AR70/223 select fire service rifle, which was based off the joint Beretta and SIG SG 530 design and in service from 1972 to 1990. Berben Corporation import marked. Features winged front and two position peep rear sights, an integral scope mount at top of the receiver, color coded “1/S” marked selector, ribbed polymer forend and grip, and smooth polymer buttstock. Includes seven extra magazines. CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 97% plus original black finish, with light chipping and minor spotting. The polymer furniture is very fine, with some scattered handling wear. Mechanically excellent. Fitted with a three prong flash hider that doubles as a bayonet lug, hooded post front sight with flip up moon bead, elevation adjustable rear sight, checkered polymer forend and grip with a folding tubular buttstock. Standard markings with Interarms import mark below the model and caliber marking. Magazine is absent. CONDITION: Excellent overall, with 97% plus original matte black finish and light overall handling evidence, with minor edge wear and some scrapes on the rubber shroud surrounding the tube stock. Pre-Ban Heavy Barrel Israeli SBL Industries Makleon Style SA FAL Semi-Automatic Rifle with Bipod - Serial no. 2369, 7.62x51 Nato cal., 22 1/2 inch round bbl., matte black/phosphate finish, hardwood stock. Made in Israel, configured as a semi-automatic copy of the Israeli Defense Force (IDF) version of the FN FALO light machine gun called the “Makleon.” The Makleon, along with standard service rifle version called the “Romat,” were adopted by the IDF in 1955 and were extensively used through the Six-Day War, War of Attrition, and Yom Kippur War before gradually being phased out during the 1970s and 1980s for lighter options like the M16 and Galil. Features winged post front and range adjustable peep rear sights, heavy profile barrel with integrated bipod mount on the flash hider, a dust cover attachment riveted to the top cover,
Hebrew selector markings with the auto section restricted with a tab, and a side folding polymer grip carry handle. The left side of the receiver is marked “7.62 MM S.A. FAL” while the right side is marked with the “star of David,” a line of Hebrew script, along with the manufacturers mark, Armscorp of American importer mark, and serial number on the magazine well. Fitted with a combination heavy ribbed hardwood forearm with perforated steel heat shield, smooth polymer pistol grip, and smooth hardwood buttstock with folding shoulder rest steel buttplate. Includes a green nylon sling. CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 97% plus matte black and phosphate finishes, with scattered minor handling marks, limited light edge wear, light scattered spotting on the bipod, and well-defined forend ribs. PW85-000043, 5.56x45 mm cal., 16 1/4 inch round bbl., blue finish, hardwood stock. Manufactured as a commercial semi-automatic variant of the Chinese Type 56 select-fire service rifle, re-chambered for 5.56x45 mm NATO with proprietary magazines to fit the smaller cartridge. Fitted with winged post front and notched tangent rear sights. The left side of the stamped receiver is arsenal marked “triangle 416” on the trunnion with standard markings and Keng’s Firearm Specialty importer mark on the underside. With hardwood furniture. Includes hand-numbered matching Keng’s shipping box, two extra magazines, folding spike bayonet, cleaning kit, green oiler, and green web sling. 1/2 inch round bbl., black/phosphate finish, metal stock. Introduced in 1979 with very few imported to the
United States. Fitted with winged post front and dual leaf peep rear sights with flip-up grenade sight. Upper receiver marked
with standard FN markings and Gun South Inc. import markings, along with a spring loaded dust cover and a right handed “S/1” trigger group on the lower receiver.
Includes vented metal and ribbed plastic handguard, two position gas regulator, smooth plastic pistol grip, and folding tubular metal buttstock. Magazine absent.
CONDITION: Excellent with over 95% of original black and phosphate finish and minor handling evidence. Furniture is also excellent, with slight handling marks on the pistol grip and buttstock. Mechanically excellent.
