Exceptional Mauser C96 Broomhandle Semi-Automatic Pistol with
Matching Stock and Accessories - Serial no. 62565, 7.63 mm Mauser
auto cal., 5 1/2 inch round bbl., blue finish, hardwood grips. Blade front and 1,000 yard adjustable rear tangent sights, Oberndorf address on top of the chamber, commercial “crown/crown/U” proof on the left, and two-line address on the right side of the frame. The hammer does not have the “NS” new safety marking. All visible serial numbers are matching, including the floorplate and the backs of the serrated grip panels. Full blue finish with bright nitre blue small parts. Lanyard loop on the butt. Includes a combination shoulder stock/holster with matching partial serial number on the mounting iron,
reproduction cleaning rod and two sealed 20-round boxes of
7.63mm ammunition.
CONDITION: Exceptionally fine, with 90% plus bright original blue
finish, showing minor edge wear and handling marks. The very fine
re-oiled grips show minor dings and dents, and the stock shows some spotting
and areas of brown patina on the hardware. Slight specks of pin prick pitting visible
on the rear sight slide, through the finish. Mechanically excellent.

Mauser Postwar “Bolo” Broomhandle Commercial Semi-Automatic Pistol with Shoulder Stock -
Serial no. 690791, 7.63 mm Mauser auto cal., 3 3/4 inch round bbl., blue finish, hardwood grips. Blade front and tangent rear sights graduated to 1,000 meters, with the top of the chamber marked with the three-line Oberndorf address, “crown/crown/U” proof on the upper left, and the serial number on the left side flat. Matching numbers are present on multiple components, including the “NS” hammer, hammer housing, floorplate and serrated grips. Included with the lot is a standard-length hardwood
Broomhandle stock with a matching number on the mounting iron and
the “MAUSER” banner on the left side of the body.
CONDITION: Very fine, with 95% plus professionally restored blue finish,
showing minor spotting, some scuffing around the stock slot, and mild
handling marks overall. The refinished grips are very fine. The refinished stock is
fine, with a mixed patina to the hardware. Some dried grease is present on the interior, otherwise mechanically fine.

Mauser 1896 Flat Side Large Ring Broomhandle Semi-Automatic Pistol with Matching Numbered
Stock - Serial no. 23155, 7.63 mm Mauser auto cal., 5 1/2 inch round bbl., blue finish, hardwood grips.
Manufactured about 1900, this is an early pattern “large ring flat side” Broomhandle pistol. Blade front and
thousand-meter tangent rear sights, with the “crown/crown/U” proof on the left side of the chamber, “antler”
style proof on the right, and “WAFFENFABRIK/MAUSER/OBERNDORF a/N” on top. The hammer is the early
“large ring” configuration, with a matching early safety and the flat-sided frame. Matching numbers are present on a number of components, including the floor plate, follower, bolt, hammer assembly and 23-groove hardwood grips. With a hardwood shoulder stock, which is numbered “23155” on the mounting iron.
CONDITION: Fine, with 40% of the original blue finish, showing bright wear on the high edges and underside of the barrel, areas
of brown patina, minor spotting, and light scratches and handling marks. The initials “AM” appear to have been scratched into the backstrap, just above the stock slot. The refinished grips are very good with some light scratches and dings, and the refinished shoulder stock shows minor dings and a mixed patina on the refinished metal hinge. Mechanically excellent.

Shoulder Stock - Serial no. 34906, 7.63 mm Mauser auto cal., 5 1/2 inch round bbl., blue finish,
hardwood grips. Blade front and 1000-meter graduated tangent rear sights, with the three-line Oberndorf address on top of the chamber, “crown/crown/U” on the left and an “antler” on the right, two-line address on the right side of the frame, and matching numbers on multiple parts, including the floorplate, magazine follower and grips. Fitted with niter blue small parts, grooved grips, and a hardwood stock with matching serial number on the iron.
CONDITION: Excellent, with 90% plus original blue finish, showing
some light dings concentrated on the magazine and triggerguard,
bright edge wear and minor spotting and handling marks. The
refinished wood is very good, with some dings and scuffs on the
butt of the grips, minor chips and repairs to the stock around the iron, and a
mixed brown/gray patina on the stock hardware. Mechanically excellent.
