- Serial no. G322, 20 gauge, 29 inch round bbl., blue/ casehardened finish, walnut stock. Connecticut Shotgun Manufacturing Company’s Galazan line of guns are undeniably among the finest guns produced in the United States. a network of master engravers of only the highest caliber, with this early production gun being a shining example. The gun was built with blued steel barrels featuring a single brass bead sight , “CONNECTICUT SHOTGUN MFG. CO./NB. CT. USA” signed on the right of the upper tube and “A. GALAZAN “ on the left, and 2 3/4 inch chambers with automatic ejectors. The magnificent engraving was executed by the hand of Italian Master Engraver Armando Piardi of the engraving firm Creative Art who has signed his work on the trigger plate to the right of the trigger. The gun features a single non-selective trigger, and a tang mounted automatic safety with a gold inlaid “S” safety indicator. The gun is mounted with a beautiful highly figured and multi-point checkered forend with blued and engraved Anson button release and Boss style extended forend shoe as well as a straight grip stock with engraved and blued heel and toe plates around a checkered bare butt.
