This gun was built with blued chopperlump barrels featuring a single bead sight on the matted flat solid rib, “BOHLER SUPER BLITZ STEEL” and “IVO FABBRI ARMI - BRESCIA - ITALY” marked on the right and left tubes respectively, a single band of engraving at either breech, 1976 dated Italian proofs
on the flats, and 2 3/4 inch chambers with automatic ejectors. The barrels are fitted to a handsome
coin finished Holland & Holland type self-opening sidelock action which displays extensive highly detailed and intricate relief cut floral scrollwork over a darkened background giving a great depth surrounding “IVO FABBRI/BRESCIA ITALY” signed on the underside. The engraving flows off of the
action and continues onto the toplever, triggerguard, and both of the tangs. The engraving is singed
on the triggerplate to the right of the trigger “”inc. C. Tomasoni” for renowned Italian Master Engraver Claudio Tomasoni. The gun features a single trigger, bright cocking indicators on either lockplate, and an automatic tang mounted safety. The gun is fitted with a sensational highly figured and multi-point checkered splinter forend with blued engraved shoe and Anson button release as well as a straight grip stock with a fully checkered bare butt.
