(308) cal., 22 inch round bbl., black/phosphate finish, synthetic stock. Manufactured in Reno, Nevada, as a closed bolt, semi-automatic only version
of the classic Vietnam War era M60 general-purpose machine gun (GPMG) using a new manufactured receiver and surplus components. The M60 was
developed in the late 1950s and intended to replace as many .30 caliber machine guns in U.S. Army inventory as possible, with this example in a standard infantry configuration. Features fixed “A” frame blade front sight, folding ladder rear sight graduated from 300 to 1,100 yards, elongated bird cage flash hider, and swiveling bipod. The receiver trunnion is fitted with the quick release hardware for the barrel, with the manufacturer’s marks, model, and serial number at the left rear side. Fitted with a ventilated barrel shroud, ribbed forearm and pistol grip, and a plastic buttstock with a flip-up shoulder rest. With cleaning tools and spare springs.
CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 95% plus black and phosphate finishes with minor edge wear, limited handling wear, and light spotting on the buttstock metal.

Desirable FN Herstal USA M249S Belt Fed Semi-Automatic Rifle
with Box and Bipod - Serial no. M249SA00340, 5.56x45 mm cal., 18 1/2 inch round bbl., black/phosphate finish, synthetic stock. Manufactured in Columbia, South Carolina, as a semi-automatic only, closed bolt version of the U.S. military used M249 Squad Automatic Weapon (SAW), also made by Fabrique Nationale de Herstal (FNH). Features a hooded post front sight, windage and elevation adjustable rear peep sight, top cover integrated 17-slot Picatinny rail, belt box mount and left side mounted STANAG magazine adapter, quick change barrel, folding bipod, and barrel mounted folding carry handle. Fitted with polymer heat shield, ribbed forend, ribbed pistol grip, and fixed stock with steel butt and folding wire rest. Includes matching shipping box, user’s manual, bolt hold-open insert, STANAG magazine, and a black polymer ammunition belt box.
CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 99% plus original black and phosphate finishes with limited handling evidence and factory grease. Mechanically excellent. Box is very fine.
