Scarce Unit Patch for the 307th Airborne Engineer Battalion
with Individual Certificate of Participation, and Artifacts from
the Chinese Commandos/Chinese Marauders - Grouping consists of three metal/enamel badges (two featuring
the “arrow through rising sun” motif, the third rendered as an eagle holding an arrow skewering a rising sun), a red-on- white embroidered cloth Commando patch marked “14th Chinese Commando/ Air borne”, and a First War Area Chinese Marauder Corps patch (white, blue and red embroidery on purple cloth).
CONDITION: Fine, with mild wear and handling marks.

Grouping of Military Insignia and Patches, Including Scarce Items from the Kunming Paratrooper School and a Rare “OSS Agent” Badge - Grouping includes two scarce prototype patches from the Kunming Paratrooper School (both blue and white, one featuring just the insignia, the other on a shield with “PARACHUTIST” above, two unmarked jump wings, very scarce “OSS Agent” badge (a small enamel pin divided in quarters with a white cross, red on one side, green on the other, “E 21” engraved on back), a badge and patch from the First War Area Marauder Corps (the former numbered “339”, the latter bullion wire on a blue field), a miniature Honorable Discharge document from an OSS intelligence man, white/red/blue paratrooper insignia patch, and a Marauder Corps dress uniform pin (three lighting bolts on an upturned bayonet, set on an arrowhead-shaped red, white and blue field). Included with the grouping is a copy of the Spring 1993 edition of Trading Post Magazine, which include descriptions and photos of items similar to those in the lot.
CONDITION: Very good overall, with mild wear and stains.
