Documented U.S. Army Surplus SIG
Sauer M17 Semi-Automatic Pistol
with Box - Serial no. TF004030, 9 mm

Tan finish, polymer grips. In January 2017 it
was announced that SIG Sauer had won the U.S. Military Modular Handgun System (MHS) contract to replace the Beretta
M9 as the standard U.S. military sidearm, and later that year the U.S. Army announced the 101st and 82nd Airborne Divisions would be the first units to receive the M17. Only 3,000 of these pistols were returned
to SIG Sauer for sale on the commercial market. The shipping box is a numbered match to the pistol and identifies it as “UDM17-9-SURPLUS” and contains two extra magazines, an extra recoil spring, cable lock, and papers. Per the included certificate, this pistol was part of the initial deployment of the U.S. M17 MHS Pistol in American service. An included copy of a Department of Defense Small Arms/Light Weapons Registry letter states this pistol was shipped to Army
General Supply (Logistics Modernization Program Stock Records) from Sig Sauer Inc. on October 26, 2017. On November 3, 2017 it
was received by Army General Supply (Logistic Modernized Program (LMP)
Stock Records) in Anniston Alabama from Army Contracting Command-
Picatinny (ACC-PICA), Picatinny Arsenal, New Jersey. On March 31, 2019 the
pistol was reconciled by Army General Supply in Anniston, Alabama. On April
24, 2019 the Defense Logistics Agency Distribution-Anniston in Anniston, Alabama shipped the pistol outside of the Department of Defense to Sig Sauer Inc., Newington New Hampshire.
CONDITION: Very fine as Army Surplus with some minor high edge wear, some minor discoloration on the slide, and handling marks, mostly on the grip frame. Mechanically excellent. Box is very fine.

9 mm Para cal., 3 3/4 inch round bbl., Coyote Tan finish, polymer grips. Manufactured as a military version of SIG Sauer’s commercial P320 line
300 of handguns and adopted in 2017 by the United States Marine Corps, Air
Force, and Navy to replace the Beretta M9. Selected for its modular design built around a serialized fire control unit, which allows grip modules to
be swapped for different sizes. Still sealed in original blue plastic factory wrapper. The slide is marked “SIG SAUER M18” on the left as well as having the military “MFR: 6ZWB1 PN: 13067088-1” markings above the takedown lever. Fitted with a set of SIG night sights with the rear sight attached to
the optics mount cover. The manual safety equipped FCU is fitted with an “M” size grip module. Includes original box with end label marked “SIGP320M18” and two sealed 21 round magazines.
CONDITION: Excellent as unopened, retaining 99% plus original Coyote Tan finish with minimal handling marks. Mechanically untested.
