Excellent World War I Imperial German DWM “1916” Date Model 1914 Military Luger Semi-Automatic Pistol with Holster and Two Matching Magazines
- Serial no. 3115k, 9 mm Luger cal., 4 inch round
bbl., blue/straw finish, walnut grips. Features
fixed sights, “1916” dated chamber, “crown/Gothic letter” proofs on the right side of the extension, and “eagle” firing proofs on
the barrel, extension and breech block. With matching visible serial numbers on the frame, barrel, and extension, along with matching
“15” partials on the
takedown lever, side
plate, trigger, safety,
both toggle links,
breech block, extractor, breech
black catch, and sear. Fitted with
straw colored and niter blue small parts,
checkered hardwood grips with matching “15” partials, and a nickel finished magazine with matching “3115/k” marked hardwood base. Includes a “CARL TRENNER/BERLIN/1915” marked leather flap holster with extra magazine with matching “3115/k/+” marked hardwood base.
CONDITION: Excellent, retaining 97% plus original blue finish and 90% plus original straw colors with minor freckling, thinning/smooth grey patina on the barrel, and minor handling marks. Grips are also excellent with crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent. Holster is very good with detached flap strap and cracking overall.

World War I German DWM 1916 Dated Artillery Luger Semi-
Automatic Pistol - Serial no. 7397a, 9 mm cal., 8 inch round bbl., blue
finish, walnut grips. Fine adjustable blade front and tangent rear sights,
with the “1916” date on the chamber, “DWM” on the front toggle link, and appropriate military proofs on the barrel, receiver, and breechblock. Numbers are matching overall, including inside the grips and on the magazine base. Blue finish overall, with straw finished small parts, checkered grips and
nickel finished magazine.
CONDITION: Very fine, with 85% of the original blue finish, showing mild spotting, light handling marks and bright edge wear. Strong straw colors on the ejector and in the protected areas, with fading on the remainder. Grips are fine, with a chip absent near the safety lever. Mechanically excellent.

American Eagle
Commercial 9 mm “Fat Barrel” Luger Semi-
Automatic Pistol - Serial no. 22996, 9 mm Luger
cal., 4 inch round bbl., blue/straw finish, walnut
grips. An exceptionally fine original example of the
first pistol chambered for the 9 mm Parabellum (9 mm
Luger) cartridge, the DWM Model 1902 American Eagle
“Fat Barrel” Luger semi-automatic pistols were intended specifically for the
lucrative United States commercial market. Approximately 600-700 of these
pistols were manufactured, and are typically found in the serial number ranges
22100-22300 and 22450-22900. Features fixed blade front and notch rear sights,
with “American eagle” crest on the chamber, “DWM” monogram on the front toggle
link, and early Luger features to include dished toggles with toggle lock on the right
side, recessed breech block, flat recoil spring, grip safety and no stock lug. The front
of the frame is marked “GERMANY”, appropriate to an American import of the era. The
barrel is marked with faint “crown/B,”“crown/G,” and “crown/U” proofs, while the extension
and toggle link are marked with “crown/B” and “crown/U” proofs. Matching “commercial”
serial numbers on the barrel and frame, with matching “96” partials on the small parts including the extension. Fitted with straw finished small parts, a pair of finely checkered walnut grips, and a nickel finished magazine with a walnut base correctly marked “Cal. 9m/m” on bottom.
CONDITION: Fine, retaining 50% plus faded original blue finish with light edge wear, thinning on the frame, and 50% original straw colors on the small parts. The grips are also very
fine with some light handling marks and defined checkering.
Mechanically excellent.

Pre-World War II 1937 Dated Mauser
“S/42” Luger Semi-Automatic Pistol with
Two Matching Magazines - Serial no. 2642s, 9
mm Luger cal., 4 inch round bbl., blue/straw finish,
walnut checkered grips. This is mid-production 1937
dated Luger P08 pistol that was manufactured by the Mauser factory
in 1937, that is complete with two matching magazines. The chamber is
dated “1937” and the front toggle is marked “S/42” for the Mauser factory.
The right side of the barrel extension has the early droop wing “Eagle/63” Waffenamt and single German firing proof. It has the standard extractor and safety markings. It is fitted with a set of checkered walnut grip with matching numbers on the back side. As noted, this Luger is complete with two blue magazines with the aluminum bases, both with matching numbers. The bases are marked: “2642/s/Eagle63” and “2642/s/Eagle 63”.
CONDITION: Fine as partially refinished with 75% of the blue finish. The side plate, left frame rail and muzzle area having been refinished. The various small parts retain 40% of their original straw colors. The grips are very fine with crisp checkering, with only minor
handling
marks overall.
Mechanically
excellent.
