     Italian proofs, a single steel bead on the raised matted solid rib, “GIAN FRANCO SORIGLIONI” and “BOZZOLO MN.
MADE IN ITALY” on the left and right barrels respectively, choke tube system (cylinder/cylinder),
and a band of light floral engraving at the breach, and 2 3/4 inch chambers. The brushed bright sidelock action displays magnificently understated light floral border engraving on all sides,
“FDA” monogram on the trigger guard in gold, bushed firing pins, a single trigger, and manual
sliding safety. Mounted in a nicely figured, multipoint checkered walnut beavertail forend with Anson release
and engraved fittings, and pistol grip buttstock with checkered bare butt. Includes a leather wrapped takedown case containing three extra chokes (improved cylinder, modified, full), and a choke tool. Barrel and stock measurements (R/L): bore diameter nine inches from the breech both proved and measured at 18.4 mm (.724 inches); minimum wall thickness .027/.030 inches;
1 3/8 inch drop at comb; 2 inch drop at heel; 14 11/16 inch length of pull; weight 7 lbs. 15 oz.
CONDITION: Very fine, retaining 99% plus original blue finish with some minor handling marks, some discoloration on the triggerguard, and crisp engraving. Wood is very fine with some dings and scratches, a hairline crack coming off the left side of the lower tang and crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent. Case is very fine.

   innovators in the world of fine arms and have made a name for themselves creating some of the finest bespoke guns ever built. This gun was built with blued steel barrels featuring a single bead sight on the smooth concave solid rib, “Armi
Famars” engraved on the left tube, light engraving at the breech, 1975 dated Italian proofs on the flats, and 2 3/4 inch chambers with a single extractor. The barrels are mated to a gorgeous casehardened rebounding
hammer action which displays extensive floral scroll engraving
over matted background extending to the pierced toplever, dual trigger triggerguard, and both tangs as well as gold inlaid “Famars” on the underside and gold inlaid line borders around either lockplate. The engraving is signed on the triggerplate
on both sides of the trigger, the left shows “More II”, who is yet to be identified, the right has the initials “RJC” for
English trained American Master Engraver Ron J. Collins. The gun is fitted with a nicely figured and multi-point
checkered splinter forend with engraved fittings and a straight grip stock with a checkered bare butt. Included
with the gun is a Famars takedown case. Barrel and stock measurements (R/L): bore diameter nine inches from
the breech proofed at 18.5/18.4mm (.728/.724 inches) and measured .727/.729 inches; choke constriction
.020/.039 inches; minimum wall thickness .031/.028 inches; 1 1/2 inch drop at comb; 2 3/16 inch drop at heel; 14 3/4 inch length of pull; weight 6 lbs. 14 oz.
CONDITION: Excellent as custom finished overall, retaining 98% original blue finish with the barrels turned a thinning plum color, 99% original casehardened and gold finishes, a few minor scratches on the barrels, and sharp checkering on the stock and forend. Mechanically excellent.
