  LOT 1062 Excellent Winchester Model 1895 Lever Action Rifle - Serial no. 406102, 30-03 cal., 24 inch round bbl., blue finish, walnut stock. Manufactured in 1920, this is an excellent example of a Winchester Model 1895 rifle. There are Winchester factory oval proofs on the barrel and receiver at the breech, as well as a factory matted section on top of the receiver ring. The left side of the receiver has the standard two-line address and patent dates. The two-line nickel steel marking is on the upper left of the barrel followed by the caliber marking. The upper tang
has the three-line model and trademark information, and the serial number is marked on the lower tang. It is fitted with a ramped blade front sight and an elevation adjustable notch rear sight. It is mounted with a smooth Schnabel tip forearm with an ebony insert and a straight grip stock with a crescent buttplate.
CONDITION: Excellent, retains 97% plus of the original blue finish with some light edge/handling wear showing a grey patina. The wood is very fine with a couple hairline stress
cracks in the right of the wrist, some deep scratches at the rear of the tang, and a few scattered minor handling marks. Mechanically excellent.
LOT 1063
Excellent Winchester Model 1895 Lever Action Saddle Ring Carbine - Serial no. 36689, 30-40 Krag cal., 22 inch round bbl., blue finish, walnut stock. Manufactured in 1902, this is an outstanding example of a Winchester Model 1895 saddle ring carbine. The left side of the receiver has the standard two-line
address and patent dates, while the top of the receiver ring is marked “30” for .30-40 Krag. There is an import
mark on the receiver. The upper tang is marked with the two-line trademark and model designation, and the lower tang is marked
with the serial number. It is fitted with a pinned brass blade front sight, a folding ladder rear sight, and a saddle ring on the left of the receiver. It is mounted
with a finger groove forearm and correct upper handguard as well as a straight grip stock with a carbine/military pattern trapdoor buttplate (cleaning rod not included).
CONDITION: Excellent, retains 97% plus of the original blue finish with a few scattered light handling marks, a few small areas of light spotting, and a few patches of protective varnish residue. The
wood is also excellent with a few scattered minor handling marks. Mechanically excellent. Estimate: 4,000 - 6,000
LOT 1064 Fine Antique Winchester Model 1873 Lever Action Saddle Ring Carbine - Serial no. 178514B, 44-40 WCF cal., 20 inch round bbl., blue finish, walnut stock. Manufactured in 1885, this carbine has the third model receiver with integral dust cover rail and dust cover with gripping serrations at the rear. The top of the barrel is marked with the two-line address/King’s patent mark and the caliber at the breech, which is repeated on the bottom of the cartridge elevator. The model designation is marked on the upper tang, and the serial number is on the lower tang. It is fitted with a block blade front sight, folding ladder rear sight, and a saddle ring on the left of the receiver. It is mounted with a smooth forearm and straight grip stock with a carbine buttplate containing an included three-piece cleaning rod. CONDITION: Fine, retains 40% of the original blue finish, strong traces of original case colors in sheltered areas, and traces of original nitre blue on the loading gate with the balance having thinned to mostly a smooth grey patina and a few scattered patches of brown with light surface spotting. The wood is very good with numerous minor handling marks scattered throughout. Mechanically excellent. Provenance: Property of a Distinguished Southern Clergyman. Estimate: 3,500 - 5,500

Very Fine Winchester Model 1892 Lever Action Rifle -
Serial no. 187269, 25-20 WCF cal., 24 inch octagon bbl., blue finish, walnut stock. Manufactured in 1902 with two-line Winchester address and “25-20 W.C.F.” on the top barrel flat, and the three-line model/patent marking on the upper tang. Fitted with dovetailed German silver blade front and elevation adjustable buckhorn rear sights. Mounted with a smooth forearm and straight grip stock with a crescent buttplate. CONDITION: Very fine, retains 80% plus original blue finish and 40% of the original case colors with the balance thinned to a smooth grey patina. The loading gate retains 60% original nitre blue. The wood is also very fine with some minor dings and scratches scattered throughout. Mechanically excellent. Estimate: 3,000 - 4,000
LOT 1066 Very Fine Winchester Model 1892 Lever Action Rifle - Serial no. 799593, 25-20 WCF cal., 24 inch octagon bbl., blue finish, walnut stock.
