   LOT 3525 Factory Game Scene Engraved Colt-Sauer Model 3000 Drilling - Serial no. GG7380, 12/243 Win gauge, 25 inch solid rib bbl., blue/coin finish, walnut stock. Built with a blade front and flip-up notch rear sights on the matted solid rib, standard maker and model markings, front sling swivel, 1977 dated German proofs, dual bands of engraving around the breech, chokes marked modified/full, and 2 3/4 inch chambers with extractors. The barrels are fitted to a coin finished boxlock action which
is engraved with forested game scenes on either side, showing a running deer on the left and a bugling elk on the right both surrounded by light scrollwork. The gun features cocking indicators, dual triggers (front is a single set), tang mounted
selector switch, and Greener style safety. The gun is mounted with a nicely figured and multi-point checkered beavertail forend with engraved fittings and Deeley latch release as well as a pistol grip stock with polymer grip cap, rear sling swivel, and
factory ventilated recoil pad. Length of pull is 14 7/16 inches. Weight 8 lbs. 3 oz. CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 99% original blue and coin finishes with minor handling evidence and sharp checkering on the stock and forend. Mechanically excellent. Estimate: 4,000 - 6,000

Factory Master Ralph Weiss Signed and Engraved Gebruder Merkel Sidelock Double Barrel Shotgun - Serial no. 480380, 12 gauge, 28 inch solid rib bbl., blue/ coin finish, walnut stock. Built with blued Krupp Stahl barrels featuring a single bead sight on the matted concave solid rib, 2 1/4 inch wedges of floral scroll at either breech, standard markings, 1998 dated German proofs, and 3
inch chambers with automatic ejectors. The barrels are fitted to a coin finished sidelock action with full coverage floral scroll engraving which extends to the triggerguard, toplever, and both tangs. The gun is signed “R. WEISS” in a banner at the rear of the left lockplate for Merkel Master Engraver Ralph Weiss. The gun features bushed firing pins, cocking indicators
on the lockplate, double triggers, and a tang mounted automatic safety. The gun is mounted with a beautifully figured and multi-point checkered forend with engraved fittings and Deeley latch release and a straight grip stock with a leather wrapped
recoil pad. Barrel and stock measurements (R/L): bore diameter nine inches from the breech both proofed and measured at 18.6mm (.732 inches); choke constriction .005/.015 inches; minimum wall thickness .031/.028 inches; 1 9/16 inch drop at comb; 2 13/16 inch drop at heel; 15 1/4 inch length of pull; cast- off; weight 7 lbs. 3 oz. Factory Game Scene Engraved Gebruder Merkel 20 Gauge Model 147E Double Barrel Shotgun with Case - Serial no. 386060, 20 gauge, 26 13/16 inch solid rib bbl., blue/coin finish, walnut stock. Built with blued steel barrels featuring a single bead sight (absent) on the matted concave solid rib, standard markings, 2004 dated German proofs, choke constrictions of .006/.018 inches, and 3 inch chambers with automatic ejectors. The barrels are fitted to a coin finished boxlock action displaying quail on the left and rabbits
on the right surrounded by scroll. The gun is signed “SU” on the left side for the Merkel engraver that completed the gun. The gun features double triggers, bushed firing pins, cocking indicators, and a tang mounted manual safety. Includes a wood and leather takedown case. Stock measurements: 1 1/2 inch drop at comb; 2 3/8 inch drop at heel; 14 5/8 inch
length of pull; weight 5 lbs. 14 oz. CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 99% original blue and coin finishes with minor handling evidence, some dried grease residue on the action, and sharp checkering on the stock and forend.

Factory Engraved J. P. Sauer & Sohn 20 Gauge Royal Boxlock Double Barrel Shotgun with Case - Serial no. 249103, 20 gauge, 26 inch solid rib bbl., blue/casehardened finish, walnut stock. Built with blued barrels featuring a single white bead sight on the matted solid rib, “J.P. SAUER & SOHN/MADE IN
W. - GERMANY/Spezial Laufstahl Bochumer Verein” marked on both tubes
with the addition of “Royal” and “20/70/2 3/4”” on the left above and below respectively, choke constrictions of .017/.001 inches, and 2 3/4 inch chambers with ejectors. The
casehardened sideclipped boxlock action displays scroll engraving surrounding “J. P. SAUER & SOHN” signatures on either side and
features double triggers, cocking indicators, and automatic tang mounted safety switch. The gun is mounted with a nicely figured and
skip-line checkered splinter forend with engraved fittings as well as a pistol grip stock with polymer grip cap, cheekpiece, and serrated factory buttplate. Includes a wood and leather takedown case. Stock measurements: 1 11/16 inch drop at comb; 2 9/16 inch drop at heel; 14 1/2 inch length of pull; weight 6 lbs. 6 oz. CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 99% original blue finish, 98% original case colors, some minor edge wear, a few tiny marks in the wood, and sharp checkering on the stock and forend. The right ejector trips every time the action is opened, otherwise; mechanically excellent. The case is very good with absent straps.
