Engraved and Gold Inlaid Weatherby Custom Mark V Bolt
Action Rifle with Scope - Serial no. H102807, 300 WBY magnum cal., 24 inch round bbl., blue finish, walnut stock. Manufactured in 1978,
this rifle displays floral scroll engraving on a matted background on the barrel, action and floorplate with a gold inlaid ram on the floorplate. The action is topped with a Weatherby Premier 3-9x40 scope. Mounted in a 7A walnut stock with Weatherby C inlays, number 16 carving with a brass plate
inscribed “2-10-78” on the underside of the forend, contrasting forend tip and grip cap, and Weatherby ventilated recoil pad. Included with the rifle is a Weatherby invoice listing the rifle in its current configuration (sans scope) and states that it was picked up by the customer who originally ordered it on February 13, 1978. CONDITION: Excellent, retaining 99% plus original blue finish with limited handling marks and crisp engraving. Stock is very fine with a few scratches above the trigger and crisp carving. Mechanically excellent. Optics slightly hazy, reticle crisp.

H131592, 270 WBY Magnum cal., 26 inch round bbl., blue/gold finish, walnut stock. Manufactured in 1972-1994. Fitted with
a ramped hooded beaded blade front sight with a folding rear sight, floral engraving on a matted background coming from the
breech end. The receiver, bolt, scope rings, floorplate, and triggerguard are engraved to match the barrel and beautifully gold plated. The action hosts a Weatherby Premier 3-9x40 scope. Mounted in a multipoint checkered walnut stock with contrasting forend tip and grip cap,
Monte Carlo cheekpiece, and Weatherby ventilated recoil pad. Includes a brown leather sling.
CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 95% plus original blue and 97% original gold finish, with,
some flaking on the barrel towards the muzzle, some handling marks mostly concentrated on the
stock, crisp engraving, and crisp stock checkering. Mechanically excellent. Optics slightly hazy,
reticle crisp.

CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 99% plus original blue finish with some light handling marks. The stock is very fine with a few minor handling marks and crisp stock checkering. Mechanically excellent.
