Masterpiece (Pre-Model 16)
Double Action Revolver with Factory Letter - Serial
no. K319578, 32 S&W Long cal., 6 inch solid rib bbl.,
blue finish, walnut grips. This is one of only 3,630
K-32 Masterpiece (Model 16 series) revolvers S&W
manufactured over a 26 year period starting in 1947. It
is the rarest of the standard K-Masterpiece target model
series. The accompanying factory letter states the revolver
was shipped on October 15, 1958 and delivered to Rex
Firearms Co. of New York City and confirms the 6 inch
barrel, Patridge front sight, target hammer, blue finish,
and checkered walnut target grips. A very rare 4-screw pre-Model 16.
CONDITION: Excellent retaining 98% plus original blue finish with a light cylinder drag line and limited handling marks. 99% plus original case colors remain on the hammer and trigger. The grips are also excellent with crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent.

factory letter lists this first year production revolver with a 6
1/2 inch barrel, red ramp front sight, white outline read rear
sight, target hammer and trigger, blue finish, and checkered
Goncalo Alves grips when shipped to Arthur Cook Supply Co.
in Laurel, Maryland on May 1, 1956.
CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 98% plus original blue finish, some light handling marks, a light cylinder drag line, and crisp grip checkering. Mechanically excellent. Case is very fine.

Smith & Wesson 2nd Model .44
Hand Ejector Double Action
Revolver in Rare .44-40 Winchester - Serial no. 30094,
44-40 cal., 6 1/2 inch round bbl., blue finish, walnut grips. Manufactured
from 1915 to 1940 with this example being chambered in the desirable
.44-40 Winchester caliber. The barrel has the two-line address/patent
marking on top, “SMITH & WESSON” on the left side and “44-40 CTG” on the right side. The S&W trademark appears on the left side of the frame, and the right side of the frame is marked “MADE IN U.S.A.” . Matching serial numbers are stamped on the butt, cylinder, and barrel.
CONDITION: Very fine, retaining 90% original blue
finish with a series of dings and scratches on the
barrel, some spotting, a couple light pits in the muzzle
wear, and a cylinder drag line. Grips are very good
with some dings and scratches and mostly crisp
checkering. Mechanically excellent.

Double Action Revolver with
Box and Factory Letter - Serial
no. K831028, 32 S&W Long cal.,
6 inch solid rib bbl., blue finish,
walnut grips. This is one of
only 3,630 Model 16 revolvers
S&W manufactured over a 26
year period starting in 1947.
It is the rarest of the standard
K-Masterpiece series. The accompanying
factory states this ultra rare Model 16-2
revolver was shipped on December 30, 1968
and delivered to Jonas Arms & Aircraft Co.,
Wall St., New York City with a 6 inch barrel,
target hammer, target trigger, blue finish, and
checkered walnut target grips. Comes with
original S&W box, screwdriver, and cleaning rod with
two attachments.
CONDITION: Excellent overall retaining 98% plus original blue
and casehardened finishes with a light cylinder drag line, limited
handling marks, and crisp grip checkering. The box is fine with a tear on a short end of the lid (old tape repair). Mechanically excellent.

Magnum Double Action Revolver with
Case and Factory Letter - Serial no. S156370,
44 Magnum cal., 4 inch solid rib bbl., blue
finish, goncalo alves grips. Built on a five-
screw frame. The included factory letter
lists this revolver with a 4 inch barrel, red
ramp front sight, white outline rear sight,
target hammer and trigger, blue finish,
and checkered Goncalo Alves target grips
when shipped to Seattle Hardware Co. in
Seattle, Washington on February 13, 1957.
Matching serial numbers on the butt,
cylinder, and ejector shroud. Includes S&W
monogram display case with “JERROLD L.
SCOTT” label on the lid.
CONDITION: Very fine, retaining 90% plus
original blue finish with limited handling marks, muzzle wear, high edge wear on the cylinder, and a cylinder drag line. Grips are excellent with some light handling marks and crisp grip checkering. Mechanically excellent. Case is very fine.

Revolver with Gold Box - Serial no. S192628,
44 S&W special cal., 4 inch round bbl., blue
finish, walnut grips. Manufactured in 1958-
1959. Fitted with round blade front and frame
notch rear sights, combat hammer, serrated
trigger, and checkered walnut combat grips.
Includes a S&W Gold box for a 1926 Model 44
Military Revolver numbered to the gun.
CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 98% plus original blue finish with limited handling marks, and a faint cylinder drag line. Mechanically excellent. Box is very fine.
