German DWM Model 1914 Artillery Luger Semi-Automatic Pistol Dated 1914
with Matching Magazine, Matching Shoulder Stock, Holster and Snail Drum
Magazine - Serial no. 1069, 9 mm Luger cal., 7 7/8 inch round bbl., blue/straw finish,
checkered walnut grips. Desirable “1914” dated chamber, “DWM” monogram on the toggle
link, fixed blade front and adjustable tangent rear sights, three “crown” and Gothic letter
German military proofs on the right of the barrel extension, and Imperial eagle firing proofs
on the barrel, barrel extension, and breech block. All matching visible serial numbers including the
interiors of both checkered walnut grip panels, and the renumbered to match walnut base of the nickel finished
magazine. Includes a board shoulder stock numbered on the iron section to match the pistol, brown leather holster
marked with an illegible Stuttgart maker and date under flap, with suspension strap, cleaning rod, takedown tool, and
a first model “trommelmagazin” snail drum magazine numbered “22071”.
CONDITION: Very fine, retains 85% original blue finish and 70% straw colors with some edge wear, scattered light
freckling and numerous scattered patches of light pitting. Grips are also very fine with a few light handling marks and crisp
checkering. Mechanically excellent. Stock and holster are also very fine. Spring lever needs adjustment, otherwise snail drum
magazine is fine.
