Excellent DWM Model 1900 American
Eagle Commercial Luger Semi-Automatic
Pistol - Serial no. 9404, 7.65 mm Luger Auto cal.,
4 3/4 inch round bbl., blue/straw finish, walnut
grips. Manufactured in the 2000-19500 serial
number range, the Model 1900 was DWM’s first true
commercial production Luger, and the American Eagle variant was
intended specifically for export to the lucrative United States market. The
American Eagle seal of the United States is marked on top of the chamber,
with the “GERMANY” export mark on the front of the frame. These Lugers
have the early features such as the long frame with flat recoil spring, 4 3/4 inch
tapered barrel, recessed breech bolt, dished toggles with toggle lock on the side,
grip safety, and first type safety lever with the bright polished lower safety area.
The pistol has a deep rust blue finish with the grip screws, front sight blade, and
connecting pins heat blued and the extractor, toggle link, ejector, takedown
lever, trigger, magazine release, and thumb safety lever with a straw color
finish. Matching visible serial
numbers on various

the interior of the
right grip panel, with
“37” marked on the interior
of the replacement left grip
panel, a correct unmarked magazine with a nickel plated body
and walnut base.
CONDITION: Excellent, retains 95% original blue finish with some minor high edge wear, light
handling marks and some light freckling on the grip straps, and 85% of the bright original
straw remains on the small parts. Grips are also excellent with a few minor handling marks
and crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent.

Excellent DWM Model 1923
Commercial Luger Semi-Automatic
Pistol with Extra Magazine - Serial no.
76969, 7.65 mm Luger Auto cal., 3 3/4 inch
round bbl., blue finish, walnut grips. Blank
chamber and DWM logo on toggle with “GERMANY” export
marking on front of frame and commercial “crown/N” proofs on
the toggle, barrel extension, and barrel underside. Properly marked
safety position and extractor. Visible numbers on the pistol match.
Blue with straw colored small parts. Fitted with checkered walnut
grips. Nickel magazine with wood base marked “GERMANY”, and an extra
unmarked nickel magazine with wood base.
CONDITION: Excellent. The pistol retains 95% original blue finish showing
some thinning to a brown. The small parts retain 80% original straw color.
The grips are also excellent with some very scattered light nicks in the overall
crisp checkering, along with a few very small chips along back edge
of the left grip panel.
Mechanically

Luger Semi-Automatic
Pistol with Matching Magazine from the Jan Still Luger
Collection - Serial no. 2591v, 9 mm Luger cal., 4 inch round
bbl., blue finish, walnut grips. This is a mid-production Luger
pistol that was manufactured by the Mauser factory in 1937 and is
complete with its original matching numbered magazine. Features
blade front and notch rear sights, “1937” dated chamber, “S/42”
Mauser code on the front toggle link, drooped wing “eagle/63” proofs on
the extension, barrel and magazine, and “eagle” firing proofs on the barrel, extension, and
breech block. All visible serial numbers match including the magazine and interior of the
left grip panel, with the right grip unnumbered. The lot is accompanied by a certificate of
authenticity from noted author Jan C. Still’s family verifying it is from his personal collection.
CONDITION: Excellent, retains 95% original blue finish with some light holster edge wear and
some minor surface freckling on the grip straps. Grips are very fine with a few light handling
marks, a small absent cracked section at the bottom left front corner, and crisp checkering.
Mechanically excellent.

Holster - Serial no. 9182k, 9
mm Luger cal., 4 inch round
bbl., blue finish, plastic grips.
Manufactured in 1942. Features fixed
blade front and notch rear sights, “42” on
the chamber, “byf” code on the toggle link,
eagle/135” proofs on the extension and
barrel, and “eagle/swastika” firing proofs on
the barrel, extension, and breech block. With
matching visible serial numbers on the frame,
barrel, and extension, along with matching
“82” partials on small parts. Fitted with a pair
of “eagle/655” proofed checkered black plastic
grips with matching serial number etched under
the right panel, and a “fxo” code, “eagle/37”
proofed, and “P.08” marked blued magazine with
plastic base. Includes a “DLU/1942” code, “eagle/
WaA641” proofed, and “P.08” marked black “pigskin”
leather flap holster, takedown tool, and extra “fxo”
code, “eagle/37” proofed, and “P.08”
marked blued magazine.
CONDITION: Excellent, retaining 98% plus
original blue finish with some limited edge
wear, discoloration and the upper rear of
the frame, plum coloration showing on the
barrel, and limited minor handling marks.
The grips are also excellent. Mechanically excellent.
The holster is very fine. It would be difficult to obtain a
finer 1942 production Mauser P.08 Luger than this example!
