Outstanding Factory Engraved Famars Avantis Double Barrel 20 Gauge Shotgun with Case
- Serial no. 0011, 20 gauge, 30 inch solid rib bbl., blue/coin finish, walnut stock. Manufactured by
the firm of Abbiatico & Salvinelli, better known to most as FAMARS of Brescia, Italy, a producer
of fine bespoke sporting arms. Single steel bead sight on the concave rib barrels with 3 inch
chambers, ejectors, and modified/full chokes. The left barrel is inscribed “Abbiatico & Salvinelli” in
fine script with a light scroll flourish on top of the rib, and border engraving at the breech.
