Parker Brothers VHE Grade Double Barrel Shotgun - Serial no. 191054, 12 gauge, 28 inch solid rib bbl., blue/casehardened finish,
walnut stock. Manufactured in 1920 and built with blued steel barrels featuring a single bead sight on the matted concave solid rib which is marked “PARKER BROS.
MAKERS. MERIDEN. CT. U.S.A. VULCAN. STEEL”, choke constrictions of .027/.037 inches, and chambers measured 3 inches with automatic ejectors. The barrels are
fitted to a casehardened boxlock action which displays the standard V Grade zig-zag border engraving with “Parker Bros.” on either side and features double triggers
and a tang mounted automatic safety. The gun is fitted with a lightly figured and multi-point checkered splinter forend that has one number in the serial number remarked, likely originally by
the factory, and a pistol grip stock with factory grip cap, blank silver inscription shield, and Parker dog’s head buttplate. Stock measurements: 1 3/4 inch drop at comb; 3 1/16 inch drop at heel; 14 1/4 inch
length of pull; weight 6 lbs. 14 oz.
CONDITION: Very fine overall, retaining 95% original blue finish with much of the loss at the lower tang, 95% original case colors, a few patches of brown patina, a few scratches on the barrels, light handling marks in
the wood, and crisp checkering on the stock and forend. Mechanically excellent.

Factory Engraved Hunter Arms Co./L. C. Smith
16 Gauge Specialty Grade Double Barrel Shotgun - Serial no. FWE204021, 16
gauge, 26 inch solid rib bbl., blue/casehardened finish, walnut stock. Manufactured
in 1925 as one of just 720 Specialty Grade 16 gauge guns. Built with blued steel barrels featuring a
single bead on the matted raised flat solid rib, standard markings on the watertable, “L.C. SMITH
Specialty GRADE” marked on the right barrel, choke constrictions of .018/.032 inches, and chambers measured 2 3/4
inches with ejectors. The barrels are fitted to a casehardened sidelock action which displays standard Specialty Grade engraving
of flowing broad scrollwork surrounding a pair of quail in a field on the left, a duck in flight over a pond on the right, and L. C. Smith signatures on either lockplate. The gun features a Hunter
One Trigger and a tang mounted manual safety. The gun is fitted with a nicely figured and multi-point checkered forend with engraved fittings and contrasting rosewood tip as well as a pistol grip
stock with hard rubber grip cap and serrated buttplate. Stock measurements: 1 9/16 inch drop at comb; 2 11/16 inch drop at heel; 14 inch length of pull; weight 6 lbs. 10 oz.
CONDITION: Very fine overall, retaining 97% original blue finish with some plum hue, 95% original case colors, some minor spotting on the action, a few light marks and scratches on the wood, and
sharp checkering on the stock and forend. Mechanically excellent.

Scarce Factory Engraved Parker Brothers GHE Grade Double Barrel Shotgun -
Serial no. 212138, 12 gauge, 28 inch solid rib bbl., blue/casehardened finish, walnut stock.
Manufactured in 1925, this gun is one of just 808 built in this combination of gauge, grade, barrel length,
and barrel steel with fewer still having ejectors according to page 279 of “The Parker Story” by Gunther,
Mullins, Parker, Price, and Cote. The gun was built with blued barrels featuring a single bead sight on the matted concave
solid rib which is marked “PARKER BROS. MAKERS. MERIDEN CT. U.S.A. PARKER SPEC. STEEL”, light engraving at the breech, and
chambers measured 2 5/8 inches with automatic ejectors. The barrels are fitted to a casehardened boxlock action displaying GH engraving
consisting of oval game bird scenes on the left, right, and underside surrounded by light scrollwork and line borders and featuring double triggers and a tang mounted automatic
safety. The gun is fitted with an attractively figured and multi-point checkered splinter forend with lightly engraved fittings as well as a pistol grip stock with factory hard rubber grip cap, blank silver inscription
shield, and a factory dog’s head buttplate. Barrel and stock measurements (R/L): bore diameter nine inches from the breech .734/.735 inches; choke constriction .005/.031 inches; minimum wall thickness
.029/.030 inches; 1 1/2 inch drop at comb; 2 5/8 inch drop at heel; 14 5/16 inch length of pull; weight 7 lbs. 1 oz.
CONDITION: Very fine, retains 95% plus original finish with much of the loss on the lower tang, 70% original case colors
with patches of grey and brown patina, light handling evidence, some minor spotting, a few pressure marks in the wood, and
overall crisp checkering on the stock and forend. Mechanically excellent.

Rare Factory Engraved Parker Brothers 8 Gauge Grade 2 Double Barrel Hammer
Shotgun - Serial no. 54478, 8 gauge, 32 1/4 inch solid rib bbl., blue/casehardened finish,
walnut stock. Manufactured in 1883, this gun started life in the current configuration with the exception of
the shortened barrels (from 36 inches to 32 1/4 inches) according to page 215 of “Parker Gun Identification &
Serialization” by Price and Fjestad. In its original configuration it was one of just 16 total guns built according to the chart on
page 279 of “The Parker Story” by Gunther, Mullins, Parker, Price, and Cote. The gun was built with blued Damascus steel barrels
featuring a single bead sight on the smooth concave solid rib which is marked “PARKER BROS MAKERS. MERIDEN CONN. DAMASCUS
STEEL.”, light engraving at the breech, and chambers with a single extractor. The barrels are fitted to a casehardened action which displays the standard Grade
2 engraving with scroll and game bird scenes and features double triggers and rebounding hammers. The gun is fitted with a lightly figured and multi-point checkered splinter forend and a pistol grip
stock with attractive figure, hard rubber grip cap, and a dog’s head buttplate. Stock measurements: 2 inch drop at comb; 3 1/8 inch drop at heel; 14 7/16 inch length of pull; weight 11 lbs. 14 oz.
CONDITION: Good, showing some blue towards the muzzles with the balance a mix of brown and grey patina on the barrels, attractive Damascus pattern, traces of original case colors on the action and
hammers, and overall mild handling evidence. The wood is also good with smoothed checkering on the forend, a small crack at the rear of the left lockplate, some scratches, and visible checkering at the
wrist. Mechanically fine, although, the toplever does not automatically close when shut, and action is slightly off face.
