Set with Case - Serial no. W38351,
12 gauge, 26 inch vent rib bbl., blue/
gold finish, walnut stock. Built with blued Proof Steel barrels
featuring dual white bead sights on the matted flat vent rib
which is marked at the base with a gold “1”, standard C.S.M.C.
markings, 3 inch wedges of scroll engraving at either breech, Briley
choke system (improved cylinder/light modified), and 2 3/4 inch
chambers with automatic ejectors. The barrels are fitted to a blued
action which displays highly attractive Grand American style engraving consisting of floral scroll engraving surrounding a pointing setter and a woodcock on the
left, a pointer and a grouse on the right, a setter bust and a quail on the underside, and another setter bust on the triggerguard with all of the animals being cut in
highly detailed gold inlay. The gun features a single gold plated selective trigger and a tang mounted manual safety. The gun is fitted with a gorgeous feather crotch
figured and fancy fleur-de-lis checkered beavertail forend with engraved fittings and a gold “1” on the release as well as a pistol grip stock with engraved blue grip
cap, gold inscription oval marked “BTC”, and a leather covered rubber recoil pad. Included is a second matching set of 30 inch barrels with their own beavertail forend,
a gold “2” on the forend, and Briley choke system (improved cylinder/light modified installed). Also included is a wood and leather takedown case that houses the
entire set, cleaning tools, and six extra choke tubes (2x skeet, 2x light modified, and 2x modified). Barrel measurements for the extra set (R/L): bore diameter nine inches
from the breech .731/.730 inches; minimum wall thickness .030/.030 inches. Barrel and stock measurements (R/L): bore diameter nine inches from the breech .732/.731
inches; choke constriction .008/.015 inches; minimum wall thickness .030/.030 inches; 1 7/16 inch drop at comb; 2 5/16 inch drop at heel; 14 9/16 inch length of pull; slight

CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 99% original blue and gold finishes with minor handling evidence, a few light scratches on the wood, some wear to the recoil pad,
and sharp checkering on the stock and forend. Mechanically excellent. The extra barrel set is excellent, the case is very fine.
