Rare Gold Plated and Blue Two-Tone Semmerling Model LM-4 Pistol - Serial
no. 486, 45 ACP cal., 3 3/4 inch solid rib bbl., blue/gold finish, rosewood grips.
Introduced in the early 1980s. Designed to be offered for use by clandestine
services or as the ultimate police backup weapon, the LM-4 is a manually operated
5-shot repeater that is 5 1/4 inches long and is the smallest 5-shot .45 caliber
pistol ever produced. The LM-4 pistol is not a semi-automatic, although it physically
resembles one. The slide is flicked forward and back after each double action squeeze
of the trigger. The frame has the rarely seen gold finish with a blued slide.
CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 99% plus original blue finish and gold plating with
limited handling marks and a plum coloration to the slide. Mechanically excellent.

backgrounds covering
the majority of the
slide and 75% of the
frame. The frame is marked with “MADE IN GERMANY” on the right side, and the right of
the chamber hood marked with “75” dated Ulm antler and “eagle/N” proofs. Fitted with a
silver plated magazine with a cream plastic grip extension on the floorplate. Includes a the
original black plastic Walther/InterArms case, and extra silver plated magazine, cleaning rod,
and matching numbered factory test target.
CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 99% original silver plating with some slight
attractive dark patina focused mostly on the slide and otherwise a few minor handling
marks and crisp grip checkering. Mechanically excellent.

bbl., blue/straw finish, walnut grips. Standard markings and features. Includes the original
numbers matching box, an extra magazine, takedown tool, cleaning rod, and original
test target.
CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 99% original blue finish and straw colors with
limited handling evidence and crisp grip checkering. Mechanically excellent. The box is fine
with some glue repairs.

pistols made by Walther for the
50th anniversary of the Model PP
in 1979, with this example made
in 1981. “IB” (81) date code Ulm
antler proof and importer mark
on the right of the frame. Includes
the original Walther/Interarms black plastic case, an extra blued
magazine, cleaning rod, bore brush, matching numbered factory
test target, a Walther banner marked oiled walnut display case
fitted to the pistol, and a matching numbered Walther certificate
of authenticity dated “25. Juni 1981”.
CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 99% plus original blue finish and gold finishes with limited handling evidence and crisp grip
carvings. Mechanically excellent. The case is very fine.

sight, an extended barrel fitted with
a counterweight with the front sight
affixed. Includes a travel case, an
extra matching number barrel which
has been cut down to 1 3/8 inches,
extra matching number slide, an
extra magazine, and a checkered
plastic grip.
CONDITION: Excellent overall,
retaining 99% plus original finish,
some light handling marks, and
leading edge wear. Grips are very
fine with scattered dings and
scratches. Mechanically excellent.
Case and accessories are very fine.
