Scarce Texas Longhorn Arms
Inc. Grover’s Improved Number Five
Single Action Revolver - Serial no. K240,
44 Magnum cal., 5 1/2 inch round bbl., blue finish,
walnut grips. Introduced in 1988. Designed by gunsmith
Bill Grover of Texas Longhorn Arms as an homage
and improvement on famed six gun shooter and gunsmith Elmer
Keith’s legendary “Number 5” revolver with a limited production of
only 1,200. The revolver was designed by Grover to be loaded, and
unloaded, from the right hand with the loading gate and ejector
rod on the left side. The cylinder rotates in a counter clockwise
manner as opposed to the more common clockwise motion
traditionally found in revolvers. Fitted with a fixed blade front and
adjustable rear notch sights on the barrel marked “IMPROVED
NUMBER ‘FIVE’” on the top, and Bisley pattern walnut grips.
CONDITION: Very fine, retaining 95% original blue finish with
holster type leading edge wear, an attractive plum coloration on
the cylinder and loading gate, and a cylinder drag line. Grips are
excellent with light handling marks. Mechanically excellent.

45 cal., 5 1/2 inch round bbl., blue finish, walnut grips.
Introduced in 1988. Designed by gunsmith Bill Grover of
Texas Longhorn Arms as an homage and improvement
on famed six gun shooter and gunsmith Elmer Keith’s legendary
“Number 5” revolver with a limited production of only 1,200. The

CONDITION: Excellent, retaining 99% plus original blue finish with
some light handling marks on concentrated on the cylinder with
cylinder front face flash marks, and a cylinder drag line. Grips are
very fine with some scratches on the left grip.
Mechanically excellent.

Linebaugh with Case
- Serial no. 48-33875, 500 Linebaugh cal., 5 1/2 inch round bbl.,
blue finish, walnut grips. The revolver features a heavy barrel and
free wheel loading system (cylinder rotates in either direction).
The solid walled cylinder is chambered in Linebaugh’s own .500
Linebaugh cartridge, one of the most powerful handgun calibers.
This big bore caliber is the preferred carry of the company’s owner
John Linebaugh. Linebaugh serial number “295” on bottom of the
frame and the back of the cylinder. Includes original Ruger case.
CONDITION: Excellent overall as upgraded by Linebaugh Custom
Guns, retaining 99% plus blue finish with limited handling marks
and a cylinder drag line. Mechanically excellent.

Revolver in .475 Linebaugh - Serial no. 86-77255, 475
Linebaugh cal., 6 1/2 inch round bbl., blue finish, plastic grips.
Frame manufactured in 1995, subsequently upgraded by Bowen
Classic Arms Corp. Fitted with serrated blade front and adjustable
rear sights. The left of the barrel is marked with the Bowen Classic Arms Corp.
legend. The frame retains the original Ruger markings on the left and the serial
number on the right. The
frame has been fitted with an
unfluted cylinder chambered
in .475 Linebaugh Magnum.
The grip frame under the left
grip is hand numbered “255”.
CONDITION: Excellent overall
as refinished, retaining 99% blue finish, a few light handling marks, and a cylinder drag
line. Grips are very fine with dings and scratches. Mechanically excellent.

Smith & Wesson Pre-Model 29 .44 Magnum Double Action
Revolver with Case - Serial no. S179676, 44 Magnum cal., 6
1/2 inch solid rib bbl., blue finish, walnut grips. Manufactured in
1957/58. Standard S&W markings, four-screw frame, ramp front
sight with orange insert, adjustable notch rear sight and matching
serial numbers on the butt, yoke and cylinder. The checkered S&W
Coke bottle target grips are un-numbered. Comes with a S&W .44
Magnum case, screwdriver and bore rod with two attachments.
CONDITION: Excellent. The revolver retains 99% plus original blue
finish showing a cylinder drag line. 99% plus original case colors
remain on the hammer and trigger. The grips are also excellent
with sharp checkering. Mechanically excellent. The case is
excellent with a common small tear in the lining at the
hammer spur.

Ejector 4th Model Target (Pre-Model
24) Double Action Revolver - Serial no. S145837, 44
S&W special cal., 5 1/4 inch solid rib bbl., blue finish,
smooth grips. Manufactured c. 1956. The 5 1/4 inch non-
standard barrel (standard barrel length was 6 1/2 inches)
was likely fitted to the gun when it was returned to the S&W
factory as there is a S&W “S” diamond refinish mark on the ejector shroud.
Matching serial numbers on the butt, cylinder, and ejector shroud.
CONDITION: Very fine, retaining 97% of the S&W factory blue finish with
some muzzle and edge wear, handling marks, and cylinder drag line. The
grips are also very fine with some handling marks and highly attractive
color and grain pattern. Mechanically excellent.

Luger cal., 4 inch round bbl., blue
finish, walnut grips. The Model 39 was
the first 9 mm double action, semi-
automatic pistol produced in the U.S.
Steel frame models, like this example,
were first introduced in 1954-1955,
but not assembled or sold until 1966,
with only 927 manufactured. Fitted
with fixed blade front and
adjustable rear sights.
Includes original S&W blue
box with the end label
listing the steel frame.
CONDITION: Very fine
overall, retaining 95%
original blue with edge wear, handling marks and crisp grip checkering overall.
Mechanically excellent. Box is very good.
