CONDITION: Excellent, retains 97% bright original high polish blue
finish, 90% original case colors, and 90% of the original nitre blue
on the loading gate with the balance mostly a smooth grey patina,
a small patch of light pitting on the lower left of the barrel between
the front sight and magazine retention band, and a patch of dark
pitting visible on the bottom of the lever. The wood is also excellent
with a few scattered light dings and scratches, and two cut notches
on the bottom of the buttstock. Mechanically excellent.
Estimate: 9,000 - 14,000
CONDITION: Excellent, retains 95% plus of the bright, original,
high polish, blue finish with a few scattered specks of light
surface oxidation, 97% plus of the vibrant original case colors,
and 95% plus of the bright original nitre blue on the loading
gate. The highly figured wood is excellent with a few scattered
light handling marks. Mechanically excellent.
