6 inch round bbl., blue finish, pearl grips. The included
factory letter list this rare and stunning revolver in .38
caliber with a 6 inch barrel, blue finish, pearl grips, and
factory engraving and indicates it was shipped on the
loan account to Cullum & Boren in Dallas, Texas, on March
12, 1938, in a one gun shipment. Cullem & Boren Co. was
founded by William A. Boren and Thomas M. Cullum and
was a major sporting goods business in Dallas, Texas, for
much of the 20th century. The revolver remains near new.
Only approximately 180 Officers Model Target Revolvers
(.32 and .38 calibers) were factory engraved. This revolver
features beautiful factory scroll engraving with beaded
backgrounds and wavy line and geometric accents.
