World War II U.S. Remington Model 1903A4 Bolt
Action Sniper Rifle with M84 Scope - Serial no. 3421408,
30-06 Springfield cal., 24 inch round bbl., parkerized/blue finish, walnut stock. These were the
standard sniper rifles during World War II, into Korea and even the early days of Vietnam. The iron sights are properly absent as standard on these
sniper variants, with a Remington “9-43” dated barrel, “R” marked replacement bolt with custom modified turned and contoured handle, and the proper offset
manufacturer, model and serial number markings on the receiver ring. World War II era arsenal replacement Keystone pistol grip stock stamped with a “K” in the cutoff
area, “O.G.” on the left of the wrist, “AN” on the left top front of the comb, “P” proof on the front of the grip area, with a checkered blue steel buttplate. The M84 scope is serial
numbered “14146” on the data plate, and mounted on a parkerized Redfield scope base, with added shims underneath the front.
CONDITION: Very fine, retains 90% arsenal refurbished parkerized finish with a mottled appearance on the trigger housing, a few patches of light pitting visible underneath the finish on the barrel bands, and 97% subsequently
refinished blue finish on the custom modified replacement bolt with some light cycling wear. The arsenal replacement stock is very fine with crisp stamps, some light handling marks and defined edges. Mechanically excellent.
Scope is excellent, retains 98% original blue finish on the tube with some minor surface freckling, and crisp clear optics.

Pre-World War II Five Digit Serial Number U.S. Springfield
Armory M1 Garand Semi-Automatic Rifle - Serial no. 78944, 30-06 Springfield cal., 24 inch round bbl.,
parkerized finish, walnut stock. Receiver manufactured in November 1940, with round beveled front edge and
“J 5 A/ D 26291-3/S A” marked on the right side under the woodline. Features fixed winged blade front and adjustable peep rear sights
(World War II type 2 lock-bar elevation pinion with post-war T105 windage knob), Winchester pattern narrow-base gas cylinder marked “C” on the bayonet lug
with chamfered lock and single slot screw, unmarked barrel with parkerized chamber, relief cut “D35382 6 SA” operating rod, “11” follower, “D28287-2SA/J8” bolt (extractor,
ejector, associated springs, and firing pin absent), and “D28290-1 SA” trigger housing with “C 46008-5 SA” hammer, “C46015-6SA” safety, and “C-46025-1-SA” milled trigger guard. Fitted with
an unmarked walnut stock and handguards with trapdoor buttplate. Includes a “S. M. Co./1944” marked M1 ‘flat buckle’ green web sling.
CONDITION: Very good as arsenal refurbished/assembled, with light edge wear, scattered pitting under the finish of the receiver (focused mostly on the left side), scattered minor spots of surface rust and
freckling, thinning, brown patina, and mild handling wear expected from a workhorse service rifle. The stock is very good as heavily sanded and re-oiled along with areas of wood filler. The firing pin, ejector,
and extractor are absent front the bolt, otherwise mechanically fine.

Exceptional U.S. Springfield Armory M1D Garand Semi-Automatic Sniper Rifle
with M84 Scope, DCM Papers, Shipping Box, and Accessories - Serial no. 1712826,
30-06 Springfield cal., 24 inch round bbl., parkerized finish, walnut stock. Receiver
originally manufactured in July 1943 and subsequently arsenal upgraded to the M1D
sniper specifications, with many rifles so converted used during the Korean and the Vietnam Wars. Features winged blade front
and T105 adjustable peep rear sights, World War II era Springfield Armory pattern wide base gas cylinder, absent gas cylinder lock with arsenal wax paper wrapped
around the lock threads of the barrel, “B/S” cross slot screw, “D35382” operating rod, “D28287-19SA/A-9” bolt, “S-A-3-52” barrel also marked “P/P/T/W” with parkerized chamber,
“12” follower, and an “6528290-SA” trigger housing with “C46008-3 SA” hammer, “SA-11” safety, and unmarked stamped guard. Fitted with a smooth pistol grip stock with faint remnants of an
“ordnance wheel” visible on the left of the wrist, circled serif “P” and non-serif “P” firing proofs visible on the underside of the grip, and an open box “S.A.” rebuild stamp on the left of the butt under the cheek
rest according to an attached hang tag. Includes a M84 scope (serial number “41228”) with post-and-crosshair reticle, sliding sun-shield, rubber eyepiece, M1D screw mount, and matching numbered inspection tag
dated “APR 23 1969”, along with a flash hider, sling, carrying case, and cleaning tools still sealed in original paper wrappers, and a shipping box, dated March 12, 1996, addressed from the U.S. Anniston Army Depot. Also includes a
numbers matching shipping document addressed from the U.S. Anniston Army Depot, Director of Civilian Marksmanship (DCM) M1D order instructions, and an applicant acceptance letter dated “JAN 24 1996”. It is worth noting on
the DCM paperwork that the group is referred to as the “Civilian Marksmanship Support Detachment”, as the DCM was privatized in 1996 and renamed the Civilian Marksmanship Program.
CONDITION: Exceptionally fine as arsenal upgraded to M1D specifications, retaining 98% plus parkerized finish with some minor surface rust on the stacking swivel, some dried grease, minor cycling wear, but otherwise limited
minor handling marks. The stock is very fine as arsenal sanded. Mechanically excellent. The scope is excellent with clear optics. The accessories are also excellent.

Exceptional Early Production U.S. Winchester M1 Semi-Automatic Carbine with Accessories -
Serial no. 1068244, 30 Carbine cal., 18 inch round bbl., parkerized finish, walnut stock. Manufactured as a part
of the first production block from Winchester Repeating Arms Co. (serial number range from 1,000,000 to
1,349,999) produced from October 1942 to December 1943, with this example produced after February
1943 (when Winchester stopped adding dates to barrels). Features “L” marked winged blade front and “S”
two position ‘L’ flip rear sights, undated Winchester “W” barrel with “ordnance bomb” on the gas cylinder
and parkerized chamber, replacement type 1 barrel band with three weld scars, “W” type 2 ‘flat-top’ blued
bolt, “W” type 1 slide, unmarked type 2 detachable spring tube, “W” type 3 recoil plate (with Winchester noted
as starting use of type 3 recoil plates around serial number 1,068,000 on page 335 of “M1 Carbine Comprehensive
Guide” by R. C. Larson), and an “O/W” and “K” marked milled trigger housing with checkered type 1 safety, “W” type
2 magazine release, “W” sear, and “W” type 1 slotted hammer. Fitted with a smooth oiled walnut ‘high-wood’ stock
with oval cut oiler slot and flat bottom forend, marked with a spurious “W.R.A./G.H.D.” (Col. Guy H. Drewry) inspector
cartouche and “ordnance wheel” on the left of the butt, topped off with a “Z” type 1 deep-groove, two-rivet ‘bullnose’
handguard, along with a “SW” blued magazine. Includes a “US” marked reproduction green web carry case, “U.S.” web
muzzle cover, “U.S.” and “J.S.&S.CO./1943” marked OD green web dual magazine pouch, two extra “BW” blued magazines, early khaki web sling, and metal oiler.
CONDITION: Exceptionally fine as arsenal quality refurbished and subsequently restored to World War II era early production configuration, retaining 95% plus parkerized finish with some minor edge wear, slightly softened receiver
markings, some dried grease, brown patina/discoloration on the rear sight, but otherwise limited minor handling marks under the finish. The re-oiled stock is also exceptionally fine. Mechanically excellent.
The accessories are excellent.
