Exceptional World War II German
Mauser “byf/43” Code P.38 Semi-
Automatic Pistol with Capture
Certificate - Serial no. 7735b, 9 mm Luger cal., 5 inch
round bbl., blue finish, composite grips. Manufactured circa
February-March 1943. Features fixed blade front and notch
rear sights, “byf/43” code on the left of the side along with
dual “eagle/135” and “eagle/swastika” proofs on the right,
“eagle/135” proof on the left of the frame, along with
“eagle/135” and “eagle/swastika” proofs on the barrel and
locking block. Matching serial numbers present on the frame,
slide, barrel, and locking block. Fitted with a pair of ribbed
brown composite grips marked “P/1528/3” on the interiors
along with an unmarked replacement blued magazine.
Includes a capture certificate, dated September 5, 1945, listing
the pistol by serial number as a trophy retained by Sgt. Joseph L. Donaldson of the 312th
Depot Repair Squadron, and signed off by a 1st Lt. R. H. Crain. The squadron was responsible
for the maintenance, upgrade, and repair of 15th Air Force heavy bombers under the 41st Air Depot Group, which
was stationed in Gioia del Colle, Italy, from late 1943 to mid 1945.
CONDITION: Excellent, retaining 90% original blue finish with some minor high-point edge wear, some thinning on
the grip strap with minor freckling/spotting, and some mild handling wear. The grips are exceptionally fine with
defined ribbing and attractive composite pattering. Mechanically excellent.

June 1941. Features fixed blade
front and notch rear sights, ac/41”
code on left side of the slide,
“eagle/swastika” proofs on the slide,
barrel, and locking block, along
with matching serial numbers on the
frame, slide, barrel, and locking block.
With “eagle/359” proofs on multiple
components including the frame, slide,
barrel, firing pin cover, hammer, trigger,
slide catch, transfer bar, and interior of
both grips. Fitted with an “eagle/359”
proofed and “P.38” marked blued
magazine with matching serial number on
the floorplate. Includes a “1941” dated, “eagle/WaA150” proofed, and “P.38” marked black leather flap holster
and extra “eagle/359” proofed and “P.38v” marked blued magazine with a dent in the lower left side.
CONDITION: Extremely fine, retaining 90% original blue finish with some minor holster pattern edge wear,
plum coloration visible on the barrel and frame, some cleaned minor pitting visible on the left of the chamber
hood, limited freckling/brown patina showing, and some minor handling marks. The grips are also excellent
with defined ribbing. Mechanically excellent. The holster is very good with surface scuffs.

Production Polish Radom VIS-
35/P.35(p) Semi-Automatic Pistol
- Serial no. G6911, 9 mm Luger cal.,
4 3/4 inch round bbl., blue finish, plastic grips. Originally the main
sidearm of Poland’s military, the VIS-35 was re-branded the P.35(p)
and pressed into service by the Germans following their invasion and
occupation of Poland. Features fixed blade front and notch rear sights,
with the one-line Radom marking, “eagle/swastika”, “eagle/WaA623”, and “XV0K0066”
marked on the left side of the slide, along with the German model marking and proofs,
and “WaA77” on both the slide and frame. The frame and slide are matching numbered
with the “eagle/swastika” and “eagle/WaA623” proofed barrel un-serialized. Fitted with a set
of checkered “FB” and “VIS” grip panels.
CONDITION: Excellent, retaining 90% plus original blue finish with minor edge wear, some
attractive plum coloration showing on the frame, thinning on the grip straps, and a few
mild handling marks. The grips are also excellent with crisp checkering and defined logos.
Mechanically excellent.

Nationale “M.1946” Model
1935 High-Power Semi-
Automatic Pistol - Serial no. 1114, 9 mm
Luger cal., 4 3/4 inch round bbl., blue finish, walnut grips. The
government of Denmark began negotiations with Fabrique
Nationale on the procurement of High Power pistols in 1939-
1940, with the Danish request for a redesigned lanyard loop that delayed the
order until it could not be fulfilled due to the German occupation of Belgium in
May 1940. After the end of World War II, the Danish contract was finally filed by FN
with roughly 1,700 pistols made in 1946, the first post-war contract FN High-Power
pistols to be made without wartime materials. These pistols were ultimately issued
to the Danish military and border guards. Features serrated blade front and fixed
notch rear sights, un-slotted backstrap, left side mounted ring lanyard loop, Danish
“M.1946.” and “crown/HV.” property marks roll marked on the left side of the frame, and
“Hammerli” laser etched onto the top of the barrel and underside of the slide. With
matching serial numbers on the frame, slide, and barrel, along with “lion/PV” and “star/E” proofs as well as
a Liege proof on the barrel. The underside of the grip frame bears an importer mark. Fitted with a pair of
checkered walnut grips with red painted interiors and “JI” marked parkerized magazine.
CONDITION: Exceptionally fine, retaining 90% original blue finish with some minor holster pattern edge wear,
some plum coloration on the
front half of the slide, limited
minor freckling, and scattered
light handling marks. The
grips are very fine with minor
handling marks in the
defined checkering.
Mechanically excellent.

no. 2819h, 9 mm Luger cal., 5 inch round bbl., blue finish, plastic
grips. From August 1944 production. Features fixed blade front and
notch rear sights, “ac 44” production code on the left side of slide with
“eagle/swastika” and two “eagle/359” proofs on the right, along with
additional “eagle/359” proofs present on the frame, barrel, and locking
block. Matching serial numbers found on the barrel, slide, and frame with a matching
“819/H” partial on the locking block. Fitted with a pair of ribbed black plastic grips and
blued “eagle/359” proofed and “P.38 v/U” marked magazine with un-numbered base.
CONDITION: Excellent, retaining 95% plus original blue finish with some minor holster
pattern edge wear, plum coloration on the frame, dried grease, and a few mild handling
marks. The grips are excellent with some mild handling marks. Mechanically excellent.
