E.D.M. Arms XM Series Windrunner Bolt Action Sniper Rifle in .408 CheyTac
with Extra Magazines - Serial no. XM091, 408 Cheytac cal., 38 inch heavy fluted bbl., black/
camouflage paint finish, metal stock. Designed by Bill Ritchie of E.D.M. Arms in the 1990s as
a large-caliber precision bolt action sniper rifle, the Windrunner utilizes a quick detach barrel
nut and telescoping stock design which allow it to be taken apart and folded down into a much easier to
transport package. The company ceased operations after Bill Ritchie’s death in November 2016, with over 3,500 rifles manufactured. Features
a threaded heavy tapered barrel with mounted muzzle brake, folding bipod, solid milled receiver with Picatinny rail, detachable single-stack
box magazine with paddle release, AR pattern Hogue finger groove over-mold pistol grip, and telescoping adjustable buttstock with integrated folding adjustable monopod,
adjustable cheek piece, and solid rubber recoil pad. Includes a user’s manual, small parts, and two magazines (caliber unknown for one).
CONDITION: Fine overall, with 85% plus of the added camouflage paint retained on top of the black finish with an attractive amount of edge and handling wear that lend it the look
of a seasoned sniper rifle, along with minor spotting. Woodland pattern camouflage cloth tape has been applied to the cheek piece, with minor edge fraying. Mechanically excellent.
Estimate: 5,500 - 8,500
