Excellent Curio & Relic Pre-Ban Colt AR-15 SP1 Semi-
Automatic Rifle with Bayonet and Factory Letter - Serial no.
SP07658, 223 Rem cal., 20 inch round bbl., black anodized/oxide finish, synthetic stock.
Manufactured in 1966, the fourth year of SP1 rifle production at Colt. Features standard
markings on the slab side lower receiver, with three-prong flash hider on the “S 12” marked
barrel, standard post front sight on the “A” frame gas block with bayonet lug, windage adjustable flip
up two-leaf rear peep sight on the upper receiver with fixed carry handle, no forward assist, short
deflector, unserrated bolt carrier with chrome plated firing pin and standard retainer pin, and two-
piece buffer. Fitted with a checkered pistol grip, long vented triangular handguard, fixed buttstock
with ribbed rubber buttpad, and magazine with “COLT AR-15” on the floorplate. The included
factory letter confirms the rifle’s current configuration with 20 inch barrel chambered for .223 Rem., black anodized
receiver and black oxide barrel finishes, black composition nylon stock, and furnished with a rear sight adjustable for
windage and a front sight adjustable for elevation noted as special features, when sent in a shipment of three rifles
to Kesselring Gun Shop off U.S. 99 Route No. 1 in Burlington, Washington, on August 2, 1966. Also includes a “COLT’S
62316” marked M7 bayonet, M8A1 scabbard numbered “63619” in sharpie, black web sling, and Colt AR-15 sporter rifle manual.
CONDITION: Excellent, retaining 97% plus original black anodized and oxide finishes with some minor brown patina/spotting showing on the gas block,
front takedown pin, and rear sight windage knob, but otherwise limited minor handling marks. The furniture is also excellent with a few minor white
streaks in the rubber butt. Mechanically excellent. The bayonet is very fine with some minor spotting and sharp edge. The scabbard is rough.

Excellent and Desirable Pre-Ban Heckler & Koch HK93 A3 Paratrooper Pattern Semi-Automatic
Rifle - Serial no. A122271, 223 Rem cal., 18 1/2 inch round bbl., black finish, metal stock. Manufactured in
1978 with “HI” date code on the left of the magazine well. Features hooded post front and four position diopter drum rear sights,
birdcage flash hider, “HK 7/76” bolt carrier, and “S/F” marked fire controls. Fitted with a textured triangular polymer forend, pistol
grip, and telescoping steel A3 pattern paratrooper stock with checkered polymer butt. Includes a leather sling. Magazine absent.
CONDITION: Excellent, retaining 97% plus original black finish with some oxidation in a small scratch behind the ejection port, but otherwise
limited handling marks overall and dried grease. Mechanically excellent.

Rifle - Serial no. A053531, 308 Win cal., 18
inch round bbl., black finish, synthetic stock. Manufactured in 1981, with “IB” date code on the left of the
magazine well. Features hooded blade front and four position drum rear sight, birdcage flash hider, “IB”
bolt and bolt carrier, and “0/1” marked fire selector. Fitted with textured polymer triangular handguard,
pistol grip, and fixed buttstock.
CONDITION: Excellent, retaining 98% plus original black finish with a few minor scuffs on the ejection
port lip, but otherwise limited handling evidence. The furniture is also excellent. Mechanically excellent.

Early Pre-Ban Costa Mesa
ArmaLite AR-180 Semi-
Automatic Rifle - Serial no. S0495, 5.56x45
mm cal., 18 inch round bbl., phosphate finish, synthetic stock. Manufactured by ArmaLite
in Costa Mesa, California, circa 1969-1972 as semi-automatic only version of the select fire
AR-18, which was designed as an easier to manufacture short-stroke gas piston alternative
to the AR-15. Features winged post front and flip up peep rear sights, three prong flash hider and bayonet lug, and an ambidextrous safety selector. Fitted with polymer
ribbed and ventilated forearm, smooth pistol grip, and side folding buttstock with ribbed buttplate.
CONDITION: Exceptionally fine, retaining 90% original phosphate finish with some small patches of spotting/brown patina, old grease, and otherwise limited minor handling wear. The guide
rod assembly has been modified, with the spring-loaded retainer removed. The furniture is very fine with some oxide residue on the buttplate. Mechanically excellent.

Desirable Belgian Fabrique Nationale FAL Paratrooper
Configuration Semi-Automatic Rifle - Serial no. 2506446,
7.62x51mm NATO (308) cal., 20 1/2 inch round bbl., black finish, metal stock. Manufactured
in Belgium c.1980-1988, after Fabrique Nationale de Herstal sorted out the “G Series” debacle with the U.S. BATFE and made
appropriate adjustments to the commercial FAL to pass federal muster. Features winged post front and two-leaf peep rear sights,
flash hider with bayonet lug, hand-adjustable gas system, and folding wire carry handle. The left side of the receiver is marked “.308
MATCH” while the right side is marked “FABRIQUE NATIONALE HERSTAL/MADE IN BELGIUM” along with two importer markings.
Matching numbers on bolt and bolt carrier. Fitted with a ventilated plastic handguard, smooth plastic pistol grip, and metal side folding buttstock.
CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 99% plus original black finish with limited handling evidence and dried grease. Mechanically excellent.
