Heckler & Koch G3 FS Selective Fire
Battle Rifle, Class III/NFA “SALES
SAMPLE”, with Extra Magazines - Serial no. 17A647,
7.62x51 cal., 18 inch round bbl., matte black finish, synthetic stock. Manufactured in 1984 and imported by HK of Chantilly,
Virginia, this is a scarce factory original G3 selective fire rifle that was given the “FS” (Freischwinger, literally “free swinger”)
upgrade, with the forearm mounting via the receiver and the charging tube instead of the barrel, to increase accuracy,
which would become the standard configuration on the G3 and its descendants. Hooded post front and four-position
drum rear sights, with a birdcage flash hider on the “IENX” barrel, functional bayonet adaptor in the charging tube,
triangular handguard with folding bipod and carry handle on the receiver, synthetic trigger housing with “0/1/20”
position markings, and a fixed buttstock with green canvas sling. The bolt head and bolt carrier are both “ID” marked, with the latter a factory original full auto component.
The receiver is the original military pattern “hinge pin” variety, with a functional paddle catch for the magazine and the correct pattern safe/semi/full trigger pack. Included
with the rifle are two extra magazines and a manual.
CONDITION: Excellent, with 97% plus original matte black finish, showing minor wear and handling marks overall on the metal and furniture. Mechanically excellent. NOTE:
This weapon is a restricted, National Firearms Act (NFA) Class 3, Fully Automatic Weapon, that is registered with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives
(BATFE) under the provisions of 18 U.S.C. Chapter 44 and 27 CFR part 479, National Firearms Act. This weapon is currently registered as being “LIMITED TO USE AS A
SALES SAMPLE (Pre-86)” and as such can only be purchased by an FFL with a Class 2 or Class 3 SOT License, restriction under 18 U.S.C 922(o) Law Enforcement use for
demonstration, sales samples purposes only.

The select fire variant of the Ruger Mini-14
Carbine, marketed to police forces and foreign military clients. Blade front and adjustable peep rear sights, with a birdcage
flash hider, trigger guard mounted safety, checkered pistol grip and a side folding buttstock. The selector switch is on
the right rear of the receiver, with positions marked “1” (semi-automatic), “3” (three round burst), and “A” (full automatic).
With an unnumbered factory box.
CONDITION: Excellent, with 98% of the original blue finish, showing some light handling marks overall, and a few scuffs
and dings on the stock. Mechanically excellent. The box is fair, with tears and water damage. NOTE: This weapon is a National
Firearms Act (NFA), fully transferable Class 3, which is registered with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives,
(BATFE) under the provisions of 18 U.S.C. Chapter 44 and 27 CFR part 479.
