Commemorative Percussion
Mountain Rifle with Case,
Boxes, and Powder Horn - Serial no. 1878A-0036, 50 cal., 30 inch octagon bbl., brown finish, walnut
stock. Manufactured in 1978 to celebrate the centennial of Browning firearms, with this gun being number
36 of 1,000 built. The rifle shows standard markings and features for the commemorative. Includes
the factory box, commemorative hardwood case, commemorative powder horn numbered
“0215 of 1000”, and shipping boxes.
CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 99% original brown finish with minor handling evidence.
Mechanically excellent. The case is excellent. The box is very fine.

Cased Belgian Browning Centennial Edition High Power Semi-Automatic Pistol with Cased Set
of Folding Knives - Serial no. 1878D-0249, 9 mm Luger cal., 4 3/4 inch round bbl., nickel finish, walnut
grips. One of 3,500 manufactured in 1978 with standard markings and features of the Centennial Edition.
Includes Browning hardwood commemorative case. Also included is a cased set of three Browning
centennial pocket knives each numbered “0036” with stag scales.
CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 99% plus original nickel finish with limited handling marks and
crisp grip checkering. Mechanically excellent. Knives are excellent. Both cases are excellent.

Factory L. Cortis Signed Engraved and Gold Inlaid Browning
Superposed Centennial Rifle in .30-06 Springfield with Box and
Case - Serial no. 1878C-36, 30-06 Springfield cal., 24 inch round bbl.,
blue/French grey finish, walnut stock. Built with blued steel barrels
with ramped beaded blade front sight and folding rear sight, standard
markings, and ejectors. The barrels are mated to a French grey finished boxlock action features a gold inlaid elk in a
field scene on the left and a gold quail in flight on the right all bordered and surrounded by floral scrollwork, a bust
of John Browning on the underside, single gold trigger, and tang mounted safety/selector switch. The left lower
rear of the action is signed “L. CORTIS” for FN engraver Lily Cortis. Mounted in a nicely figured, multi-point checkered Schnabel tip forend and straight grip stock with Browning buttplate. Includes
original box and wooden case with shipping box. 14 1/8 inch length of pull; weight 6 lbs. 15 oz.
CONDITION: Very fine, retaining 99% plus original blue finish with light handling marks, some scattered spotting/pitting, and crisp engraving. Stock and forend are excellent with crisp checkering.
Mechanically excellent. Case is excellent. Box is fine.
