Winchester Serial Number “JWM 7” John Wayne Commemorative Lever Action Carbine with Box - Serial no. JWM7, 32-40 Win cal., 18 1/2 inch round bbl., blue/silver finish, walnut stock. Manufactured in
1981. Standard markings and features of the commemorative including the “JWM 7” serial number indicating this was once part of one of the first of the 300 John Wayne Matched sets. Includes original box.
CONDITION: Very fine, retaining 90% plus original blue and 97% silver finishes with limited handling marks, pitting and surface oxidation on the barrel and rear barrel band, and patina on the silver plated parts.
Stock and forend are excellent with crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent. Box is very good.

- Serial no. JW-00864, 45 Long Colt cal., 4 3/4 inch round bbl., blue finish, walnut grips.
This pair of revolvers was manufactured in 2007. Standard markings and features of the
commemorative. Includes the original cases, three boxes of Winchester John Wayne
commemorative .45 LC ammunition, and holster rig.
CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 99% plus original blue finish with limited
handling marks and crisp engraving and grip checkering. Mechanically excellent.
Cases and accessories are very fine to excellent. B) Ruger Vaquero Revolver - Serial
no. JW-00865, 45 Long Colt cal., 4 3/4 inch round bbl., blue finish, walnut grips. As described in “A”.
CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 99% plus original blue finish with limited handling marks
and crisp engraving and grip checkering. Mechanically excellent.

honorary life Hunter Safety Instructor certificate made out for John Wayne. The frame is similar
in style to the one that contained John Wayne’s “True Grit” vest which we sold in our August 2024 Premier Firearms Auction. 2) Advertising print for the movie “The Shootist” signed by Wayne with “Good Luck/John Wayne”. It has a
Deco Ind. “do not copy” embossed watermark. 3) Photograph of John Wayne in western attire on horseback, assisting with moving a heard of horses. 4) Photograph of John Wayne as Rooster Cogburn in “True Grit” with message
“Don’t believe that ‘bigger they are’ stuff” and his signature. It has a Deco Ind. “do not copy” embossed watermark. Consignor states these items are from the personal collection of Hollywood icon John Wayne.
CONDITION: All are excellent with distinct image and almost no fading or visible wear. All the frames are also excellent with only the slightest handling/storage marks. An excellent little collection of “The Duke” memorabilia that
would look great on your wall!
