Excellent Presentation Cased Set of
Two A.A. White Factory Engraved and
Gold Inlaid Colt Black Powder Series
Percussion Revolvers with Accessories
and Factory Letters -A) Colt Black Powder Series Third Model Dragoon
Revolver - Serial no. 24645, 44 cal., 7 1/2 inch part round bbl., blue/casehardened/
gold finish, walnut grips. The included factory letters confirms the serial numbers,
calibers, barrel lengths, blue finish, grips not listed, along with the Class “B” scroll
engravings, gold inlaid band at the muzzles, and gold inlaid Rampant Colt on the left
side of the barrel lugs of both revolvers (listed as performed by A.A. White Engraving
Co.) when included in a shipment of 38 pistols sent to Stacy Williams Co. at 10 South
14th Street in Birmingham, Alabama, on October 23, 1986. The letter further states
that the shipment was made up of matching quantities of Colt Third Model Dragoon
and Model 1851 Navy revolvers, along with 16 two-drawer presentation cases. The
front grip strap of revolver “A” is marked “COLT ENG.” on the right side under the grip
line. Includes the aforementioned two-drawer walnut presentation case fitted for both
revolvers, two Eley Bros. cap tins, two appropriate Colt powder flasks (one brass, the
other French grayed steel), two brass bullet molds with casehardened sprue cutters,
two “L” shaped combination tools, a key for the case, and pre-molded
lead balls in the bottom drawer.
CONDITION: Excellent overall as masterfully factory embellished by A.A. White
Engraving Co., retaining 99% plus original blue, casehardened, and gold inlaid finishes
with limited handling marks and crisp engravings. Mechanically excellent. The case is very fine.
B) Colt Black Powder Series Model 1851 Navy Squareback Trigger Guard Revolver - Serial no. 24906, 36 cal., 7 1/2
inch octagon bbl., blue/casehardened/gold finish, walnut grips. As described in “A”.
CONDITION: Excellent as masterfully factory embellished by A.A. White Engraving Co., retaining 99% plus original blue,
casehardened, and gold inlaid finishes with limited handling marks and crisp engravings. Mechanically excellent.

CONDITION: Very fine,
retaining 99% plus original blue and 90% original case colors with original finish, light handling marks,
pitting and spotting on the frame and hammer, and a faint cylinder drag line. Grips are excellent with
minimal handling marks. Mechanically excellent. Box is very good. Case is very fine.
B) Colt Frontier Six Shooter Single Action Army Revolver - Serial no. 370MPC, 44-40 WCF cal., 7 1/2
inch round bbl., nickel finish, hard rubber grips. Manufactured in 1973. Standard markings and features
of the commemorative. With original box. Cased with “A”.
CONDITION: Excellent, retaining 99% plus original nickel finish, light handling marks, a cylinder drag
line, and crisp grip checkering. Mechanically excellent. Box is very good.

Cased and Matched Pair of Colt Model 1860 Army U.S. Cavalry Commemorative Percussion
Revolvers with Accessories -A) Colt Cavalry Commemorative Model 1860 Revolver - Serial
no. US1804, 44 cal., 8 inch round bbl., blue/casehardened finish, walnut grips. Manufactured in
1977, with standard markings and features. Includes a walnut presentation case for both revolvers,
walnut shoulder stock numbered to the “A” revolver, powder flask, cap tin, “L” shaped nipple wrench/
screwdriver, and two cavity bullet mold.
CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 98% original blue and casehardened finishes with a small scuff
on the left of the barrel, some wear at the heel, but otherwise limited handling evidence. Mechanically
excellent. The stock is exceptionally fine. The case is very fine. B) Colt Cavalry Commemorative
Model 1860 Revolver - Serial no. 1804US, 44 cal., 8 inch round bbl., blue/casehardened finish, walnut
grips. Manufactured in 1977, with standard markings and features. Shares a case with gun “A.”
CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 98% original blue and casehardened finishes with a spec
of oxidation on the right of the muzzle and some wear at the heel, but otherwise limited handling
evidence. Mechanically excellent.

Serial no. 0168AK, 22 LR cal., 4 3/4 inch round bbl.,
black/nickel finish, laminated grips. Manufactured
in 1965. Standard markings and features of the
commemorative. Cased with “A”.
CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 99% plus
original black and nickel finishes with minimal handling marks and a light cylinder drag line.
Mechanically needs adjustment.
